gate1975mlm
In Windows 7 Beta 7000 and 7022 you can not change the order of the programs on the Start Menu. Is this a Bug? In Windows Vista you can rearrange them. I am not talking about the All Programs but the Start Menu at the top.
wiggly1uk2000
I noticed that too. The only workaround I've found so far is to unpin them all and then pin them in the order you want them to appear.

wiggly1uk2000
I should add that I'm running 7022. I seem to recall it worked okay in 7000.
gate1975mlm
Thats sure is very odd when I try and move them its just says "+ open with program" Are you sure you don't mean the All Programs menu? Maybe its just a bug in the 32Bit version.

BTW I noticed that some registry tweaks (like removing arrows from icon links) can block the start menu object. I'm talking about Start Menu object. Take a look at the screenshot. Ciao

Ciao Nope. I'm talking about Start Menu object. Take a look at the screenshot. Ciao Well then this is most certainly a bug in 32Bit version. Because I can not do that. I sent a bug report to Microsoft.
gate1975mlm
In Windows 7 build 7048 32Bit I still can not reorder the programs in the Start menu. When I try to reorder them it just says + Open with I am talking about the programs at the top of the start menu. You can do in in Vista. wiggly1uk2000
I'm running 7048 x64 and I still have the same issue. Interestingly, if you drag a shortcut into the start menu from your desktop (or a window) you can place it where you like but once there you can't move it to another position.
