Get your facts straight. It doesn't violate the warranty TOS. You can just restore the original firmware.

I know that most features being added have been wanted since Day 1. But it's great that they are finally giving us what we want. Shows that Apple is listening, albeit very slowly. I'm looking forward to this OS, and the next iPhone.

I was talking about what nokia, samsung, motorolla.. Etc has done.. I have not seen the pre yet.

The UI is very minimal and yes it has been some time now and we haven't got a change.. But remember that's what jailbreaking is for.

look at the Pre. i was so hoping apple would do something incredible for the UI to step it up with what the Pre will bring UI wise

dont get me wrong, the iphone is wonderful to use, and does some things incredibly well (like internet browsing for ex), but the UI is just old now.

It's just kind of funny that Apple is finally adding copy/paste and MMS to the iPhone and proclaiming them as major new features, and yet even basic phones have had these kinds of features for years.

It's just interesting. The iPhone is so advanced in some ares and yet completely lacks even some most basic features.
