landscape keyboard, MMS, copy and paste, email multiple photos... nice to finally have this stuff.. but really should have been around since 1.0.. weird they get applauses for it all

Does anyone know roughly when 3.0 will be ready, is it June/July?

There MIGHT be an announcement at the very end of the press release. Should be very soon, Apple loves to tease people and launch stuff suddenly.

What will it be useful for, though? Because it's not hard to find things on the iPhone's home screen(s) as it is now, unless Spotlight lets you search the Internet or something.

Searching mail messages (including imap), searching for a program to launch that's located somewhere in your 8 homescreens, search for a specific song/video you want to play, etc.

iPhone OS 3.0 will be available this Summer. A free update to all of our iPhone 3G customers. And it works on the original iPhone. Now the hardware has changed between these two devices. For instance, A2DP and MMS won't be available on the iPhone 1st gen. It's also available for the iPod touch... for $9.95."

stereo bluetooth and MMS not available for 1st gen iphone ???

      On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously

      I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.

      The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
