windows 7 build 7061 out int the wild ?

Don't blody answer without getting it yourself. The person who made it could have stripped it using vlite, just go get it and confirm it then right click on setup and check release date, file size, and digital signature.

It's confirmed it's out in the wild but seeable not sure.

I can confirm the file Extract and repair.exe inside the torrent is a Trojan but what exactly is the ISO i do not know, they might not be linked some idiot just might of chucked it in there to be some smart ass, ISO could be real or false don't know without someone testing.

That must be why it's been removed. :laugh:

He had no proof of the existence anyways. I don't see why you would strip down the ISO first before you release the actual ISO first, kind of stupid IMO.

About 7061 and higher, I'm sure we will see something by the latest, Sunday; my guess is Friday. :)

600mb of iso? :) thats some vliting! but anyway you see fake as soon as you see some .exe file called "repair and extract.exe", i wonder what that does! Anyway if its not full iso then its already suspicious in any case.

When people are looking for iso you need to know 2 things. First x86 version will be from ~2.5gb-2.65gb and x64 version will be from ~3.2gb-3.3gb. Then is anything matches this sizes on picuture is fake in advance, since having 2 isos SAME size will probably never happen.

That's what made me laugh when i spotted many builds that were supposedly another build, especially for those who actually downloaded it, which also made me laugh. :laugh:

heh :) This builds are all real tho. Im saving all this builds just, so i can find out in advance if something is for sure fake or not :p Ill probably erase them all after rtm.

Something must be wrong with your system..., the OS appears to be very stable and complete, except for some minor issues that are still being worked out.

i also had tons of issues with 7057.

build 7000 was tons better for me.

7057 had my wifi and bluetooth on my laptop always on without me turning it on, and i had to reset to use my flash drive and mouse...wouldnt detect from normal plug and play.

It's more of the opposite for me. I noticed all kinds of bugs with build 7000. Locked/"In Use" issues when trying to modify Start Menu items, extra-wide right-click menus, etc.

With 7057, all the issues I had with build 7000 were fixed. However, there was the weird "unhidden Desktop.ini" issue.

confirmed 7061 is BS, the exe is 2 diff trogens, the iso is corrupt, i downloaded it myself......

I agree with you Build 7057 is by far the best build of Windows 7 I have used so far!!! :)

Build 7057 fixes almost all the bugs I have found in early builds!

Yeah, it does.

If you did an upgrade from earlier builds, that is your problem. Fresh installs only for 7057 from what I know.

      Researchers claim Microsoft's quantum breakthrough is flawed by basic Python errors by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft's aggressive roadmap to deliver a commercial quantum supercomputer by 2029 has now hit a bit of a snag, and it's not because of a complex sub-zero dilution refrigerator, but rather because of a few lines of basic Python code. A new critique published in the scientific journal Nature argues that simple software errors effectively manufactured the breakthrough that Microsoft's foundational research claimed back in 2025 into Majorana-based topological qubits. Topological quantum computing, the path that Microsoft chose for its research, relies on creating and controlling "Majorana zero modes." These are exotic quasiparticles that theoretically offer vastly superior error resistance compared to the highly sensitive superconducting qubits currently being championed by rivals like Google and IBM. However, physically proving you have created these particles requires sifting through massive amounts of complex electrical conductance data to isolate a specific "topological gap." Because of the sheer volume of data, physicists rely heavily on custom software pipelines to process the results. This is where the Python scripts come in. Now, according to the critique, Microsoft’s data processing software contained fundamental programming errors that ultimately skewed the published results. The researchers behind the critique argued that this makes the findings invalid, suggesting the heralded "quantum leap" was actually a false positive generated by bad code and not a product of groundbreaking physics. However, Microsoft is pushing back hard against these allegations. The Redmond giant has formally rejected the criticism, saying that it's just a minor anomaly rather than a fatal flaw. According to the company, while there may have been a minor oversight in the data parsing scripts, it does not alter the fundamental reality of their physical experiment. Just weeks ago, Microsoft unveiled the Majorana 2 quantum processor, a milestone so significant that the company boldly accelerated its timeline for a commercial quantum supercomputer from 2035 down to 2029. But the new software allegations reopen an old wound. Version 26.6.2 brought AMD FSR 4.1 support to the previous-gen Radeon lineup, the RX 7000 series, giving users better upscaling tech that was previously locked to the newest GPUs.
