wguimb
lol ... 7061 is so last Wednesday6.1.7064.0.winmain.090316-1936 6.1.7065.0.winmain.090317-1835 source: www.wzor.net 7067 was the build for 090317-1922 is what I understand. If that is the case then today's build is 7069 for internal, private, ISV, hardware partners, and developers. Not likely to leak. There is a fake torrent purported to be build 7061 in the wild which is FAKE and a trojan is reported in the downloaded files. However, I did see on Connect bug reports that an internal tester has submitted a bug for build 7061. So, the build is real just not leaked. I am using 7057 x86 and no bugs to speak of. Rock solid for me. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/747788-windows-7-build-7061-out-int-the-wild/page/4/#findComment-590732822 Share on other sites
xJakex
I honestly don't care too much about what build it is, as long as it's higher than 7057 and legit, then I'm alright. If it's the latest, that's even better :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/747788-windows-7-build-7061-out-int-the-wild/page/4/#findComment-590732854 Share on other sites

xJakex
I don't see why any of the people that got 7061, didn't post any screen shots anywhere  Although the same thing went with 7057 where they didn't have screen shots until after it was released. Brandon Live Veteran Posted March 20, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 20, 2009 Would people please stop claiming that every build you hear about is "the RC" or an "RC esrow" build? And while you're at it, stop making up build numbers. There was no build numbered 7067 on the 17th, so obviously someone just made that up. What I can't figure out is why. notuptome2004
All i can say and i will post this in the windows 7 disabling service thread is that Brandon live for those who dont know Works @ Microsoft so i think he would havea better hand knowlage if a version build of 7 is real or not real and you better believe him if he came out and said the first build of windows 8 was compiled today and is build 7781 or what ever that it is true. wguimb
@kpo6969 Thanks for the link. I have updated my build list. :) @Brandon Live Thanks for clearing that up. I removed 7067 from my list. I think a lot of us know Brandon works for MS. His input on this forum is regarded highly, at least by me and I'm sure many others. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/747788-windows-7-build-7061-out-int-the-wild/page/4/#findComment-590732958 Share on other sites

gregrocker
600mb of iso? :) thats some vliting! Spent weeks vliting 7000 and 7022 and 1.43g is the smallest it gets and stays functional. Ironically, when I got a stable build where everything worked around 1.5g, I discovered that the 208mb ram it uses at idle is about the same as the full win7 with sec. ctr., firewall, offline files, indexing, defender turned off and graphics edited way down. Even with Avast it idles at less than half the ram with 528mb using full win7057.
