lol ... 7061 is so last Wednesday

7067 was the build for 090317-1922 is what I understand. If that is the case then today's build is 7069 for internal, private, ISV, hardware partners, and developers. Not likely to leak.

There is a fake torrent purported to be build 7061 in the wild which is FAKE and a trojan is reported in the downloaded files. However, I did see on Connect bug reports that an internal tester has submitted a bug for build 7061. So, the build is real just not leaked.

I am using 7057 x86 and no bugs to speak of. Rock solid for me.

My research indicates the following builds:

Would people please stop claiming that every build you hear about is "the RC" or an "RC esrow" build?

And while you're at it, stop making up build numbers. There was no build numbered 7067 on the 17th, so obviously someone just made that up. What I can't figure out is why.

Even if it was real (which it isn't), the changes from 7057 to 7061 would be pretty little... 7069 would already be more interesting there.

All you need to do is use Google and you can find anything (true or untrue):

All i can say and i will post this in the windows 7 disabling service thread is that Brandon live for those who dont know Works @ Microsoft so i think he would havea better hand knowlage if a version build of 7 is real or not real and you better believe him if he came out and said the first build of windows 8 was compiled today and is build 7781 or what ever that it is true.

@kpo6969

Thanks for the link. I have updated my build list. :)

@Brandon Live

Thanks for clearing that up. I removed 7067 from my list.

I think a lot of us know Brandon works for MS. His input on this forum is regarded highly, at least by me and I'm sure many others. :)

You should be careful there, or some will come and claim he has that Windows 8 build :laugh:

RC- Escrow---The Escrow Build is a build where development halts and developers & beta testers start testing the product for any show-stopper bugs

According to the updated schedule going around, it's supposed to be ready in the last week of April.

600mb of iso? :) thats some vliting!

Spent weeks vliting 7000 and 7022 and 1.43g is the smallest it gets and stays functional. Ironically, when I got a stable build where everything worked around 1.5g, I discovered that the 208mb ram it uses at idle is about the same as the full win7 with sec. ctr., firewall, offline files, indexing, defender turned off and graphics edited way down. Even with Avast it idles at less than half the ram with 528mb using full win7057.

amen to that...they compile a new build pretty much everyday...we don't have to get a day by day breakdown...it will be rc when they decide it is so...for now just wait

Agreed. Google does produce truth, and fiction.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
