Wii USB2 ISO Loader Released

Recommended Posts

This only makes sense when there's a good amount of good games coming out for the system.

I know everyone has a different taste in games but come on, did anything noteworthy come out lately?

Madworld

House of the Dead

Broken Sword Remake

Rune Factory: Frontier

Pro Evolution Soccer

Few things, but not much...

Yeah sure as long as you don't link to it.

But what does it do, it just plays copied cds. Not like change list for ixtreme really compromises of anything apart from

So no one really mentions it.

This is partly homebrew related also, as it means applications and everything else will be able to be booted off a USB hard drive.

You can load legitimately backed up discs from a hard drive without tampering with your hardware.

Short answer to your question though, yes :p

A) There is no "legitimately backed up" Nintendo disc. It's precluded in the license agreement.

B) Installing an unauthorized channel on your Wii *is* hardware tampering. :)

sort of a side subject but what makes twilight princess have a 12+ rating in the UK ? I was gonna buy it for my kids to play as it looks like a good adventure but they are 5 & 7.

Probably the violence level... You do have to kill almost every mob you come across. :)

So the only way to load HBC is with a Twilight Princess game? I'd hate to have to go out and buy Twilight Princess just to load the HBC.

I've read an announce about the possibility to hack Wii without Zelda Twilight Princess game. Not sure about its trueness.

is it possible to store and load roms on a wbfs formated drive? i got a maxtor basic 320gig usb drive yesterday cos pcworld had them for ?60 (works great) but i formatted the whole thing as wbfs which seems a bit pointless if it can only be used for wii iso's

You can partition the drive.

You don't need the whole drive as WBFS.
