Ergotron MX LCD desk arm mini review

I have a really quick question, I just got the desk arm and I'm currently using it with a 24" monitor with no problem. But I am planning to get a 32" TV that weighs 24lbs. I know that weight won't be a problem, but will I have any trouble because it is 2" larger than recommended?

Could do. It really depends on where the mount is on the TV and how low the 'Chin' on the TV is. For example with my 30" displays I have very little clearance from the bottom of the monitors to the top of the desk even when the arms are at their full height. If your TV has a large bottom beneath the actual display there is a chance that it could rest on top of the desk or the arm wouldn't be able to raise it high enough for it to clear the desk top. I hope this makes sense ^

I'd recommend checking the TV out and doing some measurements.

Has anyone mounted a 30 inch apple display with the ergotron mx wall mount? Do you think it would be a problem even though it it apparently 8 inches thick?
