DrvIco lets you do it to just one drive. That's the cool thing: you can give the Windows icon to the system drive, and all the other drives can have other/default icons. :) Right now I'm looking at the batch file source of DrvIco, to see what registry keys it changes. :D

Could you, in your shell32.dll, include the Longhorn looking-for-folder animation? Notice, it's slightly newer!

a problem. maybe it has been posted. everytime i install the longhorn transformation 4. i get the windows update rollup on my windows update. it keeps coming back. anyway to solve this?

Because that's modded rolup file which is not signed. Just ignore that.

Here is where you can change the icon to that with resource hacker.

Also change Icon 08 or 09 in shell32 for your hd

Also Icon 16 in shell32 changes some thing else

is there a way to prevent the scroolbar at the right? I guess it's the "Delete this folder" which causes it :huh: Is it possible to make the appearence "wider", so that the scroolbar doesn't show??

It no longer resizes because that would move the listing and when you clicked an icon it would shift down. It's at a good fixed size right know as well.

BTW, to Windows X: Can I use your Flash clock in my sidebar? I haven't been able to use GDI+ to rotate the hands easily. :(

WindowsX I have some questions on the PDC version of LH Pack 4.0

1) My bootscreen is the same bootscreen that comes with your LH Pack 3.0 with the white flag and white progress bar. Do you have a PDC bootscreen with the colored flag and orange progress bar? If yes how do I get it?

2) My login screen has the colored flag and grey box but no text. Is there suppose to be text and what should it say?

3) In the smaller screens like " Please Wait " the text is white but in Longhorn the text is black. Is that something that can be changed?

I am running 1024X768 res if that helps.

These packs screw up my WinXP Pro SP1. My previous attempts on Mac Transformation Pack and Aqua icons caused WinISO and ISOBuster access violation error on Kernel32.dll. :no:

To do the drive icon:

1. Copy the Longhorn Windows drive icon from this pack to some folder, like "C:\WINDOWS\Longhorn Transformation Pack Data\" (no quotes) or something

2. Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\C\DefaultIcon\@ to "C:\\WINDOWS\\Longhorn Transformation Pack Data\\drive.ico" (no quotes, double backslashes, change name to match correct path and filename).

1) I personally like my own Boot Screen than sucking PDC Boot Screen.

2) There's no text.

3) Try to change for other options.

Yeah I think I got a problem......I used the M6 logon and I had auto-login on.....and now I have no users on my log in....and it won't login....

EDIT: Nevermind...CTRL+ALT+DEL worked.

i said other icons rather thn da 1 u already hav put on tht .exe file, i said "normal drive icons" and start menu icons...i got da drive icon with ms flag on it but need other 1nz without flag...etc..

hi, Windowx X, i really like ur transformation pack, makes my destop all pretty :p

the only question i have is when i press alt+ctrl+del it only shows current programs running, there are no more current processes tab..and i can't do shut down either, is it suppose to be normal?? or i did something wrong? i followed ur instructions with installation and everything turned out ok...well, execpt that :blush:

It should have because i didn't do anything to task manager. Try to change themes and press arrow to move tab on taskman.
