Murkey Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 I fear for when the D6 or D7 doesn't include a focus motor.:(:( Given that the D3/D700 etc still have support for AIS lenses from god knows when, it's probably unlikely for them to drop the AF motor entirely. It is meant to be a top of the line product after all... Anyway, at that point, there'll probably have been so many refreshes of the lens lineup that you probably won't have an AF lens... There are approx. 2 years between each D(x) so we'll expect the D6 around the end of 2013... assuming Nikon keeps up the refreshes in this economic climate...
