so.....someone tell me what happens when I beat all the missions? I get this helicopter, right? And then what happens??

if you beat the entire game (100%), you also can get 3 body guards. the ai really sucks, but they'll shoot at anything that attacks you.

I can't raise the chaos meter enough any tips? I kill loads of cops.

In the biker mission, right? You need to blow up every and anything. When you get a few stars, the bar increases faster, so don't just kill cops. You might want to find a nice rooftop to shoot from, where the cops can't get you.

A little tip for people who can't beat Hilary in the driver mission. This is the mission in which you have to beat Hilary in a street race. I found this mission nearly impossible so this is what I did:

1) go into the Grand Theft Auto Vice City\data folder and open this file: handling.cfg

2) make a backup of it ofcourse (maybe this should have been point 1)

3) search for this string "SABRETUR"

4) look for these numbers 180.0 32.0 and change it to 50.0 05.0

5) run the game and Hilary is easy to beat.... since you are a lot faster now :) (well no, you're not faster, but Hilary is a lot slower)

6) after the mission save your game and replace handling.cfg with your backup.

This is cheating ofcourse, but the good thing is that the game won't detect this as cheating. So it will not affec your 100% score.

Cheeeet :p

It took me ages, but what I did in the end was this:

In the malibu, shoot a load of customers (it's not a problem, they were badly dressed and couldn't dance anyway  ) you may also need to shoot a cop in there - just make sure you get a 3-star rating.

When you race hilary, try and keep close to him because the cops throw out stingers (spike-strips) and if hilary gets a puncture, he'll be all over the place. I also got a puncture but I had time to get in another car and still beat him easily.

HTH,

W.

I did the Hilary mission first time because of a bug. I was following close behind him when he went through one of the small bridges and got stuck below it. The 2nd time I tried it the same thing happened but he fell into the water beneath the bridge and died, so i lost the mission.

haha nice one tobbe

It could rotate around... nothing more.

And remember, don't drive too fast. :|

I have found all the hidden packages, finished all unique jumps except for one.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of software that can read the file that I save my game to and then report what I've finished and what I haven't.

The game memorizes if I've finished a jump or not.

I've finished all the main missions. And a couple of the side missions.

edgarf28:

If I told you then I would spoil it, but you will know when it's over.

Buy buildings and do their missions.

 i've bought all the buildings i can find and done all thier missions. i've got the malibu, ice cream factory, film studio, taxi company, counterfiet company, that strip club, and a few hotels. anything i am missing?

    • But building your own.. what? You can't build anything like the Steam Machine yourself. Even trying to get close costs a good deal more. Even just the CPU cooler in their price comparison is as big as the entire Steam Machine. If you want a regular gaming PC, then by all means, build that. If you want a a small console-like PC for the living room that is good for gaming, I'm not sure what else is a better deal. In the GN review, they only mentioned a small form factor Dell, which is like twice the size and hundreds of dollars more expensive.
    • Those are some popular multiplayer games. But hardly "all". Just those that don't work on Linux currently due to specific anti-cheat implementations. I think it's also fair to point out the literally thousands of games that don't work on the PS5. And it's not locked at 1080p. That's the default, which you can change.
    • Ubuntu Livepatch arrives on Arm64 to eliminate system reboots for kernel updates by Paul Hill Canonical has just announced that its Livepatch service now supports computers with Arm64 processors. For those who are not familiar, Livepatch allows users to apply important kernel updates without any service interruption or rebooting. While home users will benefit from this, it’s even more important for critical machines that absolutely should not be going offline at all. The feature is available as part of Ubuntu Core 26 for Arm64 and Ubuntu Core 20 and onwards for AMD64. According to Canonical, this will improve the security of systems that aren’t security-maintained daily or weekly, and it helps organizations work towards Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance. If you are familiar with Ubuntu, you probably know that most packages can be updated without having to restart the system. There is one big exception to this, and that’s the kernel; it typically requires you to reload the system to boot into the new kernel. With Livepatch, Canonical has done something so that you don’t need to restart to begin using the new kernel. Aside from Ubuntu Core 26, users with Arm64 chips running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS can also use Livepatch. If you want to learn more about Livepatch, check out its product page. There, you can also find a button to join Ubuntu Pro (it’s free for several home devices) so that you can enable Livepatch. By linking your computer to Ubuntu Pro, you will also extend the life of your Ubuntu install from five years to ten years. If you are running Ubuntu, let us know in the comments if you have been looking forward to this feature on your ARM-based computer. If you’ve had a compatible AMD64 machine for a while and never used this feature, let us know why in the comments!
