+unabatedshagie Subscriber¹ Posted May 30, 2009 Subscriber¹ Share Posted May 30, 2009 It's my sons first birthday in a few months, throughout his first year we have recorded footage of various things he's done. I would like to create a DVD of his first year of life to give to the grandparents, aunt's uncles etc. He's where the problems start, I have never done any type of video editing in my life, I don't even know where to start. I know I can just dump all the files onto a dvd and burn them (making sure to have video disc selected and not data disc :) ) but I would like to add captions and stuff to it to make it a bit more interesting. So...what do I need to start editing my videos? Recommendations for simple easy to use software? Something like iMovie (I saw some of the things it can do in the apple keynote a while back and it looked super simple to use) would be excellent. Any book's or site's you would recommend?
