Smallville Season 9

Recommended Posts

wow is right, one of the best episodes in a long while. Its weird because I always want the show to feel like more of a superman movie, but when they do that and add it kryptonite infected people with powers its just a filler episode. This episode was awesome though. Martha Kent coming back next week also looks awesome. Only downside still is the quick 2 second fight scenes.

This is terrible. Zod is going to tell Lois he is The Blur... I hope she is thinking about how The Blur told her it was 'the last call'. She can't possibly believe him. Even if she is smart enough, he will probably choke her like Faora. These season finales of Smallville always make it seem like it could call Smallville an epic fail and be done with it, and then all of a sudden they find a way to recover in the season premier. :/

I wish they would make a much more believable season finale. Not only that, but Faora died because it doesn't seem like the writers ever care for the guest appearances... When they juice it up, they always use some kryptonite-infected human and then realize they need death so they kill the infected human as if they had no chance... Faora should've lived, she was the only good Kandorian, and her sister would've been good too, but with her gone, the sister freaked out and turned to Zod. This is just nothing but irritating.

And then they show you Watchtower online...pft. That's nothing but a lie, they never configured Watchtower with the satellite systems, so it's worth nothing... Once they start connecting the satellites to Watchtower and configuring the computers, it's too late... So Watchtower...never worked when it was needed the most! We all saw what Watchtower was capable of, it shutdown the solar towers. But that did nothing as that time was erased, all of it down the drain. Watchtower was used only for what Chloe accomplished all the other seasons, and whenever she went to Tess' lab, she was picking up satellites and enhancing images of Zod and Clark on red kryptonite... She obviously wasn't putting Watchtower to good use. :/

The CW Network has announced that its hit series ?Smallville? will return in the fall of 2010 for a momentous tenth season.

?Smallville,? a modern retelling of the Superman legend, stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent . The series moved to Friday nights this season, where it currently ranks as network television?s #1 show in its time period among men 18-34 and men 18-49. Additionally, ?Smallville? has dramatically improved The CW?s ratings performance in its Friday 8:00-9:00p.m.time period by 67% among adults 18-34 (1.5/6), 200% in men 18-34 (1.8/7), 75% in adults 18-49 (1.4/5), 183% in men 18-49 (1.7/6) and 74% in total viewers (3.12million).

Learning about the official renewal of Small for a momentous tenth season made my day! Let's hope that Smallville Season 10 will be as thrilling as the ninth season with the same explosive combination of great plot and mighty characters!

:)

Thanks to Allison Mack we have a confirmation that Tom Welling who plays the role of Clark Kent would be available for a 10th season of Smallville:

"The latest with 'Smallville' is there might be another season after season 9 . Tom has signed for season 9 and for a season 10, so the show will go until season 10 (It Might). I will be completed with my contract next year, and I am looking for new and exciting ways to carry out my character?s exit. I love living in Vancouver, it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love the people, the food, the aesthetic, and the life I have built here. It's wonderful."

Actress Allison Mack

So Tom Welling would keep his role and depending on what's ahead for Chloe, Allison Mack would be glad to come back too. And I guess that Erica Durance (Lois Lane) and Justin Hartley (Green Arrow) would likewise be glad to stay on board for a new season of Smallville.

As a fan of Smallville I'd be damn glad to watch Smallville Season 10. And I hope they will make it as good as Season 9 with lot of action, great new characters and a real depth to the main plot.

But we also have to keep in mind that the actors are getting older. So to my viewpoint, if Smallville Season 10 is greenlit, it has to be the final season of Smallville. I mean the Red Blue Blur has to become Superman by now, and move to Metropolis once and for all! And hopefully, CW would launch the new Series Metropolis when Smallville Season 10 comes to an end, but that's just Smallville fan dreaming, at least for now.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for Smallville Season 10 to happen!

:)

I have officially stopped watching smallville. The show has just gotten worse and worse and worse. I've been watching it since the beginning and Season 9 episode #16 was the last straw. Though I will never forget how EPIC the season finale of Season 4 was.

same here. the story is getting worse and stopped watching it.

I really hope the previews are telling us what I think they're telling us about the finale

Clark must grow up... this season must end with him flying away... and not as Kal-El or some brainwashed zombie, but Clark/Superman... obviously they're not following the storyline to a T, but come on... Clark must finally become who he is supposed to be

Man some of you people are so picky. Personally I think it's a nice show, at least a lot better than most crap on TV. Sure, it doesn't follow the super man story to a tee but they need to think of some story and plot to use, it's not as bad as some people here make it out to be. I would have never been interested in Superman if it weren't for Smallville, due to the show I have an interest to check out the Superman movies and comics.

Whats good about it?

Acting - Dreadful

Effects - Dreadful

Writing - Dreadful

Story - Dreadful

Thats about it.

So anyone care to post some finale points, since I won't be watching it until much later tonight or tomorrow. I'm really curious as to what happened.

So, someone wanna tag the episode up in spoilers (or not if you prefer heh) and let me and the other curious peeps know :)

    • Microsoft will soon allow some users to block Copilot from analyzing their Office files by Usama Jawad Microsoft Purview is a pretty useful data governance, security, and management service that allows customers to gain enhanced visibility and control over their content. It's meant for commercial customers, such as organizations that are storing data at scale. As AI continues to expand and infiltrate every corner of a firm, many are a bit conscious about the technology gaining access to their confidential data. Microsoft is now making a configuration change that will allow such customers to rest easy. Right now, users within an organization have the option to apply Purview sensitivity labels (when available) to secure certain files and label them as such. For example, if you apply the "Confidential" label on an Excel file, the file will be encrypted, and a "confidential" watermark will be applied to it. So, if this file is shared with anyone, they are aware that its access is supposed to be restricted. Up until now, Microsoft was allowing some connected experiences, like its AI services, to analyze files, regardless of their sensitivity label. This is of major concern to most organizations, as a recent example highlighted how confidential emails with data loss prevention (DLP) policies like privacy labels were being uploaded to Copilot for analysis. As such, Microsoft is updating an existing Purview data label sensitivity setting that prevents "some connected experiences that analyze content", from being blocked completely from doing this. The label isn't changing, but the blocking is now being enforced across all connected services (including Copilot and other AI tools), and now extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files with the label applied already will get this enhancement automatically too once it becomes available. Microsoft has urged IT admins to inform their respective helpdesk and compliance teams, update internal documentation, and review sensitivity labels to ensure that they meet their respective compliance needs. This change is tagged as MC1297982 in the Message Center. General availability is scheduled to begin in a phased manner soon and will complete by the end of next month. That said, it is important to note that this only applies to commercial customers who have a license that allows them to use Purview.

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.
