Yeah I'm so glad Sir Alex is giving him one more chance, at times he's shown ability and skill, but a terrible end product, or just played really badly. I truly thought he was out the club in the transfer window, and I wouldn't of cared. However that pass for the goal and some of his crosses during the game showed he can do it.

But the last few games he seems to have upped his game, realised he doesn't need to replace Ronaldo and Man Utd really do need wingers right now, as Giggsy can't play week in/week out like he used to.

Watched the game with my Dad/GF, both Man Utd fans, Man Utd just played Arsenal off the pitch which must of been disappointing for the gunners at a home game, but to be fair, Man Utd played so well I wouldn't feel bad as such about losing, it was almost like watching Barcelona tear apart Man Utd in the CL final, just nothing could be done.

AW's stubbornness cost us the game.. we needed a proper striker and we didnt buy one and tbh I wasn't surprised. Sadly, thats what we expect of AW in transfer window now.. had we signed a good striker things would've been different.. 3-3, 4-3 who knows.. game would be a lot closer though.. and omg Almunia is still here :omg: there is a reason he wants to get an Engish passport and play for England.. he's ****.. he knows he will never play as a first keeper for any national side.. Also the formation was wrong.. we beat Utd last season with a 4-5-1 formation.. that helped us keep the ball.. wouldn't have helped us scoring but might have kept the scoring down on the other end.. dont know what to expect atm honestly.. we need some good signings and to get rid of players like Denilson and Eboue..

Let me guess your next step. "Foreigners don't have the right to support English team". 'Cause clearly leaving at more than 1100 kilometers makes me less of a supporter than those who live at Manchester... And those who can afford to buy a ticket anymore aren't supporter too? I'm so tired of this? :sleep:

I don't know why you're always so uptight about people's choice in teams Frank, it's not possible for every single Man Utd fan in the world to attend the games, heck even if I lived in Manchester I'd probably watch them on Sky/In a pub to avoid insane season ticket prices, and go to the occasional game or two.

I'm from Scotland and I support them, how on earth could I go to the games?

b) The person attends matches

c) They have some ridiculous undying loyalty that challenges reality itself

Otherwise they're "not a real fan", "glory hunter", "jumping on a bandwagon" etc.

And FYI I do support my local team up here, but English football is so much better than Scottish.

To add to what you are saying Audioboxer I have been a Aston Villa supporter for 40 years now (I know, this will elicit some sort of response!) It all started when I was little boy of ten years old I found an old Beno Yearly Annual at a friend?s house and I saw this picture of a Villa player in action and from that day I was a dedicated supporter! I watch the matches where I can on telly and when I cannot I follow the live text. I then buy the paper to read about it the next day and I am also a registered Villa supporter. I love my team and when they lose I hate it and when they win it is like I was there. So, yes I consider myself a true supporter, regardless of the fact I have never been to a match at Villa Park or elsewhere.

25 years of supporting Wolves here due to my Grandfather taking me alot so it was more than likely instilled in me to support them and I've never regretted it. I think it's fair to say we are all gloryhunters one way or another how else do we choose the team we support?

Evidently you lot seem a little unclear on the concept of a glory hunter, so let me enlighten you, a glory hunter is someone who starts to support a team just because they are a team that is winning at the time, and not for reasons of any connection to a team. I support Liverpool because the rest of my family supported them, I have been supporting them since about 1996, hard to call me a glory hog seeing as they where in one of the worst periods of their recent history in the early-mid 90s.

I am not unclear at all, I just don't call people who support a team for the sole reason that they are winning everything real fans, because they aren't real fans. And to be "frank" (look I can make smart alecy quips as well, aren't I the smart one :D) I don't give a toss whether you think I am a glory hunter or not, I was brought up around Liverpool supporters, I have loved Liverpool since I first became interested in football, and I have supported them through the good times and the bad.

At the moment it isn't looking too good I admit, but if we can salvage a CL place the season won't have been a total write off
