P.M.K
Hi all, I've noticed this in public build 7100. While in Explorer you have the option of right clicking the details bar and choosing "Size all Columns to fit" which should expand all folder names, date modified etc to be displayed. As you can see from the screen-shoot you cant see all the _Test111222333 folder. When you select "Size all Columns to fit" you can now see that the _Test 112233 folder has a lot more characters. But what what I've noticed is that if you can't see the folder it wont be included when you "Size all Columns to fit" as you can see from the folder I named ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Hope this makes sense. null_
I'm not able to reproduce this on build 7100, x86. Have you applied any sort of tweaks or changes to the default settings?

the_architect
EDIT: I can reproduce this. But if you double click on the line between the 2 column titles it works correctly.
P.M.K
I'm not able to reproduce this on build 7100, x86. Have you applied any sort of tweaks or changes to the default settings? Really?? Thats strange. I'm using W7 on 3 machines and it's happening on all of them. No tweaks or anything have been applied. slinky333
What steps did you go through to reproduce this issue? Well, like the OP said. Open an explorer window that has more items than what fits on the window. Make sure that you have a file/folder with a long name on the bottom of the list. Scroll up to the first item and right-click on name column and choose resize column to fit or double-click on the separator line. The column will resize only according to the items currently visible on the window, if you scroll down to the bottom the longer names will be cut-off. But I think it probably is by design since it's faster to calculate the longest name only from the visible items.
