I knew that guy looked familiar I just couldn't place him. I was never a lost fan.

Good episode though.. But man, my wife and I kinda sat there asking, who is this, whats going on with this, demon blood, etc because we just started watching the show, and have only seen season 1 so far. So lots of catching up to do.

Dude! Don't try watching from Season 5, you'll have no clue and it'll totally ruin the next few seasons. :(

Wasn't bad, I wouldn't have minded a more exciting ending, but what can you do. :)

That's crazy you need to watch the other seasons first!

If you are a Dexter fan he was also Rita's ex husband so maybe that is where you know him from. He is making a nice career out of playing bad guys I guess.

Season 1-3 were all very samey imo, different shows, but not really following a bigger picture. Still great IMO.

Season 4 is a must, as it does seem to gear towards a bigger picture, breaking the 66 seals.

I REALLY enjoyed season4, I think its a must before 5.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan says he's eager to return to the role of the Winchester boys' daddy, if he can find the time. And he feels like his storyline on the show got cut too soon. He also casts doubt on rumors that a sixth season of Supernatural could feature an entirely new cast, rebooting the show without Jared Padalecki or Jensen Ackles. He htinsk those rumors are just designed to stir up the fans. [Sci Fi Wire]

    • Close, but it is for any application starting, not just during boot time. In fact, it probably will not improve boot time at all because during a boot, the CPU is already boosting, so a pre-boost wouldn't change anything. I agree that it isn't exciting (especially considering every other OS already does it), but it is a good thing, even if they are just playing catch up.
    • Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.
    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.
