Indeed. I love the episodes with the "Trickster".

Since the Trickster in the latest episode was Gabriel (an Archangel), does that mean he was Gabriel the whole time? I mean, the last time we saw the Trickster was that episode where Dean dies a thousand times.

that is what i assume from the episode

Season 5 continues to be the most disappointing season for me so far.

Cut all these silly spoofs/humour episodes and start getting a little more serious again. Yeah one here and there is good to change up the flow, but it's getting a bit ridiculous now...

I love it man, only supernatural can take such an end-game topic such as the end of the world and make a big ass comedy out of it XD

I know. :( I'm beginning to hope it ends at season 5 rather than doing another season. :(

The comedy episodes used to be the break in the story, every episode has a funny relationship between the brothers and characters but when they try to turn the whole show into a comedy constantly it's fail IMO.

I always wondered how they'd handle the heavy handed topics they started to swerve into, it seems IMO they're cracking under the pressure a little and the writing is going downhill.

Even my friends and Mum (lol) who watch Supernatural agree Season 5 has been the weakest Season so far.

I have a question

The vessels, are they tied to specific angels, or they're just vessels?

I ask because why would Lucifer focus on Sam, when Dean is the vessel for his older brother, who is perhaps the most powerful angel of all. So if Dean can handle the most powerful, why wouldn't Lucifer want to tap that?

Unless he knows Dean will never give in?

I was under the impression it was a symbolism thing (if that is the appropriate word). Sam would identify with him the most, being the younger brother and all. Dean wouldn't relate at all, since he was the one doing the "smackdown" and the one being looked up to.

Just my opinion anyways..

I thought it was because Sam had been "prepared" by drinking demon blood?
