Demo not up!

PSN/EU it is. I dunno about PSN USA, their update is usually an hour or two later, but if you have an EU account you can just hop on that anyway.

Xbox Live is tomorrow, discussed earlier, although I probably should of clarified my post again.

Sony hate me again and I'm not even half way through my download.

I r sad.

How long is the demo? Please don't tell me it's another one where I spend and hour + dling and 5mins gaming..

That's what demos are.. hours of dl and a few mins of gaming. only a 'taste' lol.

In my experience the shortest demos are always on PSN, but seeing as this is a demo for all systems I'm hoping I get a little more than that when it's 1.4GB (definitely the most annoying thing other than the speeds).

1.4GB is like one 6th or more of the size the original game when it's released on the 360. They should open up demos a little more for people to help decide on a game.

It'll last about 10-15 mins (maybe 20 mins, I'm not sure), it's a "fair" demo, not generous, but not as lame as some. It's got some replayability as well.

Took around an hour for me to download, my max speed is 400-420kb.

Keeping my pre-order, it would be hard for me not to at ?23, but I'm not keeping it for the sake of it, I enjoyed the demo.

See, you gotta have faith sometimes:pp

And thanks for the time info.

Played Batman Demo through a couple of times :o

Not convinced it is a 9/10 game because it appears a little bit simplistic although that could be simply how they've designed the demo to make it accessible.

Combat feels very good - love how all the moves interlink whilst you can also string together combos :poundit:

Detective mode is great and hope the detective collectibles will be fun :o

Stealth is really good too - love how you can swing around and do glide kicks/inverted takedowns and that the environment plays a part (the last bit is a good example where you can drop down through the glass to take one of the guys out :o ). I imagine it'll only get better when you get more of Batman's equipment too.

Graphics and sound are 8/10 but gameplay is 8.5/10 from the demo.

I think I'm going to really enjoy it as long as it doesn't get repetitive - I hope they mix up good brutal freestyle combat with stealth and allow you to choose whether you wanna go brutal or stealthy.

Can't wait for my Collector's Edition to arrive now 8)

Mostly in agreement with this. If I hadn't watched a video of somebody playing through this exact demo previously (if you have watched any footage of this game, the likelihood is you've watched the entire demo), I think I may have found it more fun. It was still enjoyable, but as I knew exactly what was coming, kind of ruined it.

Plus, they haven't fixed Batman's cape going through his arms and such! (Must be a good game if the only complaint I have is a graphical thing with the cape, right?)

holy crap! I haven't played the demo but after watching http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/424683/an-i...html#id=1617659 I am pumped to play this. As much as I love Heath, Mark does such an amazing job doing the Joker. Nostalgia cranked to 11 now.

Audioboxer: How can you not enjoy Kevin Conroy doing Batman? I think maybe only one line felt a big forced, but if anyone is the voice of Batman, it is Kevin Conroy. He has been the voice of Batman since 1992. No other actor comes close into as many hours as him for the voice of Batman. Not even Adam West.

The only thing that is bothering me is that all the gamplay videos show exactly the same thing over and over again. As mentioned it could get boring very quickly. A one trick pony so to speak. But I withhold judgement until I try the demo and the final game is out.

    • Microsoft admits one of the most crucial Outlook features is currently broken by Sayan Sen Microsoft is making some decent progress when it comes to Windows 11. Recently we have confirmed reports of some rather useful improvements landing in the next version of the OS, 26H2, wherein GPU driver TDR crashes may finally be fixed, plus the company is also allowing users to disable web content on the Search. On the Outlook front though things have not been so rosy. Last month in May we reported several problems affecting basic functionalities on the app. These included a problem where documents would open blank or corrupt themselves. Following that, Quick Steps, a very useful feature, would no longer work correctly, and finally, Microsoft acknowledged a problem wherein images would fail to load up properly inside the email. Microsoft had resolved those bugs later and almost exactly a month after we reported on them, the company has now admitted a new similarly basic issue, this time on Macs. Users recently started noticing that Outlook would no longer display email threads properly as the original message itself was not displayed. An affected user Tsoumpas, C (ngmb) nicely described the problem in a forum post they made on Microsoft's site. They wrote: "Description of the issue: After updating Outlook for Mac [Version 16.110 (26061317)] on 18/6/2026, replying to any email no longer includes the original message in the reply window. Prior to the update, replies correctly contained the original email text below my response. Expected behavior: The original message should be included in the reply, as in previous Outlook versions and according to the configured reply settings. Actual behavior: The reply window contains only a blank composition area (or only my response), with none of the original email text included." Obviously this must be a highly frustrating for users as noted by several in that thread. The post, at the time of writing, has also been upvoted by more than 40 users indicating that is a fairly widespread bug. Thankfully Microsoft seems to have acknowledged the problem right around that time as it opened a new issue on its official website. In the support article, the company recommends switching to Outlook for Mac from the legacy app, where the problem appears to be happening.
