Ji@nBing
Damn Microsoft  my arctic silver order doesn't arrive until tomorrow so I can't fix this damn box, I want to playyyyy You could always just try the penny trick. It's more simple than the Xclamp and no AS needed.
Pupik
^ I think you need to apply AS on the pennies, before placing them. It was postponed to make it better and you're complaining?Does.not.compute... To make what better? A completed version of the game, that is now to be released on the XBOX360 with the same code? And I'm complaining about that the developers/publishers are postponing games on PC, and then complain about low sales figures as a result of people already finished the game on the console (while many grabbed the early leak), and then have no reason to buy it on the PC. It's time for you to move and get a console for games. PC is a dying breed here. Sure there will always be a few games that will remain true to PC (like once upon a time) e.g. WoW or Sims to name a couple, but for the majority of publishers out there, the PC version of the game isn't even available anymore. When the PC version is announced, production-wise it's almost as if it's an afterthought, with features cut out e.g. Ghostbusters and MP, or just "unoptimized" graphics and gameplay. Of course, PC gaming will never die out completely but that's like the existence of present floppy drives/disks.
Ji@nBing
^ I think you need to apply AS on the pennies, before placing them. Nope. You can just re-use the thermal tape from the chips to attach them. That's what I did and it worked perfectly. nope, no luck, a friend of mine (a real one :p ) says it's the GPU, but oh well, I'm going to imagine I'm playing batman  Did you try it? If not, you may as well. It only takes 20 mins and even if it doesn't work, you've upgraded the heatsinks on those chips and that's not a bad thing. Spookie
people already finished the game on the console Indeed I have, fantastic game, the 2nd to last battle is iffy due to the odd dodging mechanics though luckily the batarang AI is fantastic so always hit the mark I was aiming for even though I was using the quick tap. The story is, surprisingly, well written and has a few decent turns in it. The voice acting through out is impeccable. Even the minions always had something to say about where they were or doing. Gameplay is rock solid the fighting mechanics though they seem simple, oh they are, still manage to have some level of mastery to them. So you won't see button mashers reaching the upper echelons of the 40-50 combos. When you go reach the late 20's you get a zen feeling of knowing when to counter before the icon appears. The stealth gameplay is better than you'd expect when the core gameplay is a strong melee fighting. There was a number of ways to subdue a foe due to the endless gadgets. They made you feel powerful but never invulnerable. Once the thugs got guns, three bursts could end you quickly. The game then shook things up later by taking away certain safety nets (I won't spoil that for you!) Boss battles were varied and always diffrent. My fave being the interactions with Scarecrow. It was like a cross between Max Payne nightmare sequences and Eternal Darkness. I won't spoil them for you. But you'll love them. ;D The game lasted for me about 13 hours, I did get distracted and go for a wander looking for The Riddler logic puzzles and items to boost my XP. I never normally say this but I would love a sequel there is so many tiny niggles which, while don't detract from the game, if fixed in a sequel could push it to a contender for game of the year. I can't help but feel like this is how Assassins creed SHOULD have been when it was first released (minus the modern city and comic book theme ofc. :p)

Ji@nBing
For my money, Mark Hammill is the definitive Joker. FAR better than Heath Ledger IMO. He just seems so much more demented and psychotic. Ledger's version could have just been any psycho villain, really. Nothing about his performance really said "Joker" to me. Really looking forward to this one just for Hammill's performance alone. 4 more days!!!

MistaT40
I am officially excited for this game. Some parts of that Game's Master review are hard to read, but it pretty much sets the scene exactly like I imagined. The game just screams of brilliance in attention to detail, and it too reminds me of Bioshock as well as The Darkness and Chronicles of Riddick. All with a dash of Splinter Cell mechanics for good measure. I think for the ?22 I have preordered it for, it will be hard to complain too much over if there are some faults. Eidos really should have just left the reviews handle themselfs and it wouldn't have this tarnish perception like the last couple of games they released. For once it looks like they have a solid game which will just win the masses by itself. Hope I'm not wrong though or I will be eating my hat. For a game of this caliber for that price, you can't go wrong and rarely do you ever see such positive reviews for a game of this type too (being of comic descent and that hasn't been heavily anticipated e.g. MW2, Killzone, Halo etc..) - at least it's been a while. The video review on IGN was awesome, I might buy it as soon as I buy my Slim!:DD It say's PlayStation Network on the PS3 box, it has online play? Ledger was good, he was clearly psychotic in a dark way, but Nicholson almost seemed maniac because everything thing he did was a "joke" or "funny" to him, even though it clearly wasn't. MistaT40
Complete BS. What did I say was BS? The way I see it, the quantity and quality of gaming titles has decreased for PC. How many games that have been released for consoles have also been released for PC? Of those titles, that has been released for PC too, are they as "feature-packed" as the console versions? Of course there are quality games still being released for PC, but that amount has decreased drastically from the 90s-early 2000s. It just seems publishers are more focused on making console games than PC games now. Whether you agree or like that, I would like to see you point out points in contrast to that. MistaT40
What do you do in it? There is 12 Batman's running around using their gadgets? No it's more like various challenges that you set out to accomplish, get trophies, results get posted to a leaderboard. Some of them can be like how many combos you can pull off while fighting a bunch of guys etc... I believe that's just some of it - well, plus the DLC download to play Joker

Better than Nicholson, yes. Hammill also has the same maniacal feeling that you described, but he seems even more insane and psychotic and dark than Nicholson. Think of him as the perfect blend between Ledger and Nicholson. Oh, and I do agree that Nicholson was better than Ledger. I think he got way over-hyped because he died. Not to say he wasn't good, just not THAT good.

Not to say he wasn't good, just not THAT good. I think that's also because it's been almost 15 yrs or so that we've actually seen someone who pulled off Joker the "right" way which is why Ledger got so much talk. But to me, he was the second best Joker after Nicholson -just like Bale was the second best Batman after Keaton. It would be interesting to see who can do Penguin and whether they can do as good or better a job than DeVito. The original Batman will always be the best and I don't see how Nolan can do a better job directing than Burton, who's always been great a directing movie with his usual and unique flair

MistaT40
sorry to burst your bubble, but the pc version is delayed because it includes Physx, something consoles doesn't have, and PC will never die, as long as Microsoft is interested to push Windows 7 and DX11 forward As I mentioned in my previous postings - PC won't die completely - it'll always be around but the quantity and quality of games available for PC has dropped a lot since the early 2000s. Also, just as this game released for PC will include something "more", there are others that will feature "less" e.g. Ghostbusters. As for MS pushing DX forward, sure that's true - but also note they don't seem to be pushing the "Games for Windows" that hard and more importantly, their strategy and focus on this is almost non-existent compared to everything else they push e.g. 360, Windows Live (e.g. Messenger, Hotmail etc). Have you seen an increase in PC games because of this? Sure MS can push DX forward, because it's also used in the XBox and you cannot push Gaming on Windows hard if you are pushing Gaming on your console too because you are going to sap revenue from one of your lines. Customers are not going to buy a game for their 360 and then turn around and buy the exact same game for Windows. So if you are MS and you are talking about gaming, are you goin to push gaming for PC harder or gaming for XBOX more? We all know which one MS is pushing gamers towards. If you are a PC gamer - are you going to say that the quantity and quality of games are in general better for the PC or consoles? Better now or before? Are games now more focused on producing for consoles FIRST or PCs?

Lamp0
I really like this game. Though I can't help but dislike the character designs and overall art style of the game. It's like they've tried to create a hybrid of the films and the comic art styles. They should've just gone for one or the other. None the less I think I'll buy the game, the demo was a hell of alot of fun.
