What was the last movie you watched?

I then last night watched a movie called Michael with my wife.

It is an Austrian movie with subtitles, and it was getting comparisons to the movie Funny Games for being disturbing. So I rented it through the Apple store.

I think the trailer is the best way to show it.

Man, this movie is twisted. It is SUPER slow and deliberate, so if you do not like those types of movies, this is not for you. I felt sick to my stomach most of the movie, and that was in fact the point.

Believe it or not, the last one I watched, although not all of it, was yesterday, and it was the x rated Deep Throat, from 1972!! Didn't really watch it, but was showing my perverted brother how to convert files and burn them on a dvd.

Never had seen that movie, but do remember when it came out.

Trivia fact:

Radio Times' film editor Andrew Collins justified the choice by stating that the list is not about cinematic quality, but about the influence a film had on society. Prometheus (in 2D). 7.5/10. I thought it was really good! I was entertained throughout it, anyway. Not as deep or thought provoking as I was hoping it would be, but an entertaining suspense sci-fi thriller and I love those so it was great.

This weekend I have watched:

* Promethius

Dunno what to say that hasn't been said. It's either great and an intriguing part of the overall universe, or a mess that tries to cash in. I genuinely can't tell.

* Alien

I had torevisit this. Very glad I did. Seeing it in HD was worth it also.

* Chernobyl Diaries

I expected standard teen-horror fare. It surprised me.

Just finished watching four over the past two days in this order:

Angel Dog - (Good family movie if you have kids no swearing and easy to follow and predictable, but got it for my step daughter).

Sherlock Holmes (first one - saw it before but wanted to see it again)

The Darkest Hour (Movie seemed to have a good pace to it and never was boring for us)

Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows (Love the humor and the music in both films, if you are into this version, a good watch for sure).
