The Dark Knight Rises

5/10

Maybe 6/10 but that is being gracious.

Just got back from watching it, and well, it is definitely the weakest link in the trilogy. It seemed far to drawn out, and by the time it was over, I couldn't wait to leave.

Expected more considering the first two were okay. Ah, well. This is why I try not to listen to over-hype.

Also, in the entire 2 hours and 44 minutes of the movie, Batman, y'know the main character, the Dark Knight...is only on-screen a collective of around 10-15 minutes.

This weekend I got through -

Point Blank - 3/5 A French action film that's worth a watch.

Insidious - 3/5 This started off pretty well but lost me after they went in The Further, which is a shame. I thought the film had really good potential.

[Rec]³ Genesis - 2/5 Massively disappointed with this film. I absolutely loved the first of these films, but this one went in a complete different direction and it just work for me. Really, really disappointed with this.

Old Boy- 5/5 This was recommended to me by a friend and thought the film was amazing. Story really draws you in and it doesn't disappoint. Best film I watched this weekend.
