[Official] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

hopefully it'll get fixed or the upgrades will be re-jigged a bit because the combinations i mentioned make it farcical in game. its not even remotely realistic or reasonable.

What's even more awesome is when they are host they are impervious to bullets. Essentially you turn in to the T1000 from Terminator 2.

Oh then there is the whole warping thing due to dodgy animations but that's another kettle of fish. :D

Hello Guys, just thought i'd show you some more insight into the Modern Warfare 2 Callsign Database which is in current testing and development. Currently we have Equipment, Basic Training, Operations, Finishing Moves, and Intimidation all XML coded and Payback and Elite in development. Really I am asking for some help with the categories, Killstreak, Precision, Humiliation, and Prestige. Each category is XML coded with this template and layout

Above is what is then displayed from the given XML data. If some kind member of the community could send me a PM giving their choice of one section to do, we could have this site, ready and full working with in a few days. I can tell you how to fill in the XML fields once you pick a section. The website is at this address.

Thanks, and I hope to see some PM's soon and some feedback would be great too.

Browno.

nice site...and a good idea

i'd love someone to do a section just showing the rank names and their associated icons. would be useful for prestiges...as i often see people on prestige levels and how no idea which one they're at because there are so many rank icons

Another cool thing with MW2 is when you shoot someone and get the +100 for it and right after that the host migration kicks in and the player is suddenly alive when we resume play and stabs you in the face!

After I completed single player (not as good as the first imo, but I won't get into that now) I played multiplayer and then didn't come back for it for a fortnight or so. I've had some time over christmas to play it properly and it's one of the best, if not the best, multiplayer experience I've had in an FPS. So if anybody else has a "meh I'm done with this" feeling after the single player work through it :) The multiplayer is just brilliant.

The multiplayer is just brilliant.

The MP has grown stale for me, the game is bogged down by the killstreaks and silly weaponry. I'll admit I was all over it at first but now everyone is calling in nukes, Pave Lows, Chopper gunners & AC-130s. Each map is a camp-a-thon to your next reward or everyone is running about like a down syndrome Carl Lewis stabbing everyone. It's shine erodes quickly.

What mode are you playing?

Play with my friends and I Spookie and you won't have to worry about killstreaks. We focus on winning the game first and foremost and if some gets a kill streak, great but move on and continue pounding the other team. :p Then again, we play strictly Domination so people can't sit back the entire game unless they want to lose badly.

That's great an all but I'm not paying ?5 a month for a game when BF:BC2 is just around the corner! :F

Just sold my copy never going to buy into the hype of a CoD game again.

See you say that now but gamers have memories like a dead goldfish. Mark my words 2 years from now when Modern Warfare 3 comes out you're all creaming your self on how good the SP will be and how amazing the MP will be too. :p

    • This piece of ###### is probably one of the most hated apps that ever existed.
    • Microsoft is bringing a much-needed Recap app to Teams, here is a first look by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is heavily used in work and school environments, and perhaps one of its core but extremely useful features is the ability to record meetings. In past years, Microsoft has further improved upon this functionality by integrating AI, but you do need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to leverage most, if not all, all of those capabilities. Now, the Redmond tech firm is making another significant enhancement in the area of Teams meeting recordings. Up until now, if you wanted to access Teams recordings, you had to arduously locate the meeting invite and navigate to the dedicated tab, or go to the cloud storage location such as a SharePoint site. This was a rather overwhelming activity, especially if you don't remember the name of the meeting or the meeting occurred quite a while ago. Microsoft is now attempting to solve this problem through a dedicated Recap app that consolidates all your recordings. This centralized experience will allow users to find all recordings from the past 30 days and also offer access to other related services such as transcripts and AI-powered summaries. Customers will have the option to search for recordings, filter them, and review multiple meetings by generating AI-powered podcast-style recaps. The Recap app will list all available recordings in both thumbnail and list views. The former is shown below: And here is how Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can select multiple recordings to generate a podcast-style audio recap: Microsoft has emphasized that the Recap app is pre-installed in Teams but it will not be pinned by default. Users will able to navigate to the Teams app store from the left rail, and pin it from the apps section. It will be enabled by default for all users once it becomes available. It's worth noting that while Teams recordings and transcripts can be accessed by all users governed by existing permissions, AI-powered features like intelligent summaries, audio recaps, and video recaps will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. The Recap app will be generally available to Teams users on Windows, Mac, and the web by the end of next month, with mobile support coming soon.
    • It's so stupid that you have to "enroll" in these extended updates.
