Is Neobond the same person as Tom W?

I had 2 bottles of wine already, but I know y'all doing something important right now and I'mma let you finish, but I believe that Neobond and Tom W are the same person.

Facts:

  • They are both English and need to do some Wii Fit training.
  • They were always, like, best friends forever since the genesis of this joint.
  • They are always online, at the same time in the Neowin IRC room.

Tom W is the young Neobond and Neobond is the old Tom W.

Tom W is a fresh blonde London chap that later decided to gtfo of his stable life and travel around the world and spread his love for Windows. Since Windows is a pain in the ass lots of grey hair popped in his head and that's why Neobond painted his scalp as brunette. But they are the same person, Neobond.

epic thread... I think in the early days of neowin.... Neobond had 2 accounts. one was Neobond and the other was Steven or StevenParker. something like that....but I don't think we knew it was the same person for sometime....lol

Seems logical to me.

Coincidentally, the future Tom also changed his name to Steve to avoid any possible way of identifying him.

really its the same person that does those reviews on Zero Puncationation? Good reviews although the Wii Sports Resort was whoa, I always thought the point of the Wii WAS to make you look like a compelte bafoon in front of your friends (and get a good work out at the same time) :).

True the Wii could proberly do better and the Wii Motion deal is different/innovating, just need more 3rd party (GOOD 3rd party) games.

I will say it did convert my family to enjoy game consoles they never liked them.

      Not sure there is good value here.... the only real choice is 2GB w/ Controller since 1. 512GB would disappear fast based on today's PC game installs 2. Controller is back ordered until 2027. The appeal of playing PC games on TV (along with PS5) sounds interesting, but I am not too lazy to fire up the huge PC either. Not really sure this would be "worth" it.

      This might work, but the boot menu F12 only shows hdd and dvd+/- and Niks In the bios all usb are enabled. the usb stick is in place and in the boot menu it does not show up in the bios boot order.

The upcoming iOS version will bring even more refinements to the Liquid Glass design language, an upgraded Siri AI assistant, and several new Apple Intelligence features. Apple has released the iOS 27 beta 2 (build 24A5370h) for developers who want to test the new features being baked for the iPhone and optimize their apps. If you're interested in downloading the latest beta, go to Settings > General > Software Update > beta Updates, then choose iOS 27 Developer Beta. You can download the latest iOS 27 beta on more than 30 supported iPhones. Make sure you know what you are doing since developer betas can be unstable and unexpected at times. If you want to be on the safer side, you can wait for the public beta, which will arrive next month. It's been a while since Apple discontinued its AirPort router lineup. Now, the company said in the iOS 27 beta 2 release notes that the AirPort Utility is deprecated and won't be available for new downloads from the App Store. Apple added that if you previously downloaded the app, you can re-download it. However, the functionality isn't guaranteed when using the AirPort Utility on iOS 27 or later.
