Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Transformers 3)

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley owes more to Victoria's Secret than a congratulations video.

The British lingerie model, who recently won Megan Fox's role in "Transformers 3," wore a white transparent lingerie top and panties to her love scene audition with Shia LaBeouf, Hollywood Life reports. 778212024m.gif

"She had to meet Shia to see if they gelled," an on-set source told the magazine. "Having her in as little clothing as possible was just the icing on the cake. When she walked down a staircase in that outfit - wow.?

Last week, deadline.com confirmed that Jason Statham's girlfriend was Fox's successor in the third installment of Michael Bay's blockbuster.

Following the announcement, Victoria's Secret released a video montage congratulating Huntington-Whiteley on her first movie role.

The 23-year-old Brit became the "T3" front-runner - beating out Sarah Wright and SI cover girl Brooklyn Decker - after auditioning for Bay in early May.

The filmmaker only had a week left to decide who would take the place of Fox, who was reportedly fired because she lost too much weight.

"No matter what people spin or say, Megan Fox was fired," the source told Hollywood Life. "She was very bitchy on the first two films; she always had an attitude. So it wasn?t a surprise that she got booted from the third film."

Is that right??.

Her lips in some photos, her nose in others... I can?t say I really find her more attractive than Megan... But they seem to be a bit alike which is good if she is to replace Megan as Mikaela or be a relative as some sugest but seriously... Mikaela is gone/dead and a missing sister/cousin shows up out of nowhere? Looks almost as silly as Martin twin brother in the original "V"... :D

I think it's ironic that Megan Fox (who I'm not fan of mind you) got fired or left the movie because she got "too thin" and had a big blow off with Bay. Now, this is coming from the director who said (and I'm paraphrasing here) "You don't need to act, your hot just look hot don't act". And now Bay thinks Fox was thin, and hires this woman who looks like a cross between a Twilight vampire and a robotic rubber doll you can buy online? Not to mention she's so thin Shia my man could break her in a half with his famous NO NO NO line?

Rightttt Bay, right.

Anthony Breznican has a new article on Transformers 3 titled ?Next ?Transformers? is due for a switch? which mostly consists of director Michael Bay and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura explaining what went wrong with the previous installment, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (blamed mostly on the rushed schedule and writers strike). There are a few interesting bits about the newest film to be found in the article, here is a sample:

* Final confirmation that movie will be released in 3D. No word on if it will be shot in 3D or converted in post. Knowing Bay?s obsession with film, I?m assuming he agreed on a post process.

* The villain in Transformers 3 is ?Shockwave, the robot cyclops-turned-laser-cannon, who became dictator of their home world of Cybertron after the other Autobots and Decepticons journeyed to Earth.? Makes sense.

* Bay claims ?One thing we?re getting rid of is what I call the dorky comedy? adding the The Twins are ?basically gone? but comic relief John Turturro returns. Bay?s ?basically gone? comment seems to confirm that they have a short appearance in the film.

* In the new film Sam Witwicky is ?taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. ?Shia has this great line: ?You know, I?ve saved the world twice, but I can?t get a job.?? Okay, so Transformers is never gonna get a screenplay nomination at the Academy Awards.

* The plot also ?delves into the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet?s most dangerous secrets. ?The movie is more of a mystery,? Bay says. ?It ties in what we know as history growing up as kids with what really happened.?

* Transformers 3 is the end of a trilogy. Bay says ?As a trilogy, it really ends. It could be rebooted again, but I think it has a really killer ending.? It basically sounds like Bay is done with the series, and the ending of the movie is a finale of sorts.

* The film also features a set ?built to resemble a dilapidated nuclear reactor.?

If they don't include Stan Bush's The Touch in there somewhere, I'm going to be VERY disappointed :(

I highly doubt an 80's song will make its way into featuring in a 2012 film based on futuristic sentient robots. Sorry, I just can't sit it working.

you just never know with Bay

Wow, it's been so long since I heard that song. I didn't even know they re-made it. Anyway, I'm surprised - no, shocked - that Megan Fox was replaced. Her replacement doesn't look nearly as attractive as her. She looks so... plastic, if you know what I mean. Megan Fox is so much better looking.

So Does this mean he is going to kill of some of the main characters? Optmus?

its not Transformers without Stan Bush.

The picture of a rather odd robot is from Ain't It Cool News. The pic is reported to have been taken from the Chicago set for Transformers 3 with the robot being called "Bruiser". No other context was provided. If this is for Transformers 3, then the name is likely a placeholder name and of course CGI will likely add some life to the prop.

For reasons I can't nail down, that robot makes me think "Frankenstein's monster". This in turns makes me think that maybe a plot element is an attempt by humans to re-create Transformer technology but that is just speculation on my part.

    • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....

    • I can barely recall getting web results from a file search... I must've turned it off long ago. 26H2 is Insider's Preview build 26300.8697, which I am running, atm. It is not available for people running the standard commercial builds of Windows--only for the beta test Insider's group. But anyway, as mentioned in the thread, this feature has been around for a long time...
    • Speak for yourself. I saw it on Feedly, came here to read it, and did read it until the steps to activate. I skipped them to read the last paragraph. I knew it was probably not "the most requested feature", but knowing Neowin, I knew the article was going to talk about a feature nonetheless. I've seen Neowin in its best and worst.
