Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Transformers 3)

Empty, soulless special-effects laden extravaganza that wows the eyes, but does nothing for the heart or mind. You were expecting something else?

About sums up all of Bay's movies and thats what I like about them. The way a summer action flick should be ;)

LoL @ critics commenting on story.

There just mad they don't make the kind of money Bay does :p As I have said before, none of Bay's movies have been that story driven they have been more about the action and how big of a explosion you can get on screen while staying in budget :p

I didn't go pron for a reason. There are quite a few adult stars I like. Faith Nelson being one of them.

Well, while Faith is a porn star (and a very lovely one at that, even though I don't typically like blondes), I really don't consider Rachel Aldana one since she has only (as far as I've ever seen) done topless and maybe a few nude sets.

In what way is Karen Gillan not British?

this has been discussed :p

because she is scottish...keep up.

Alicia Rhodes is another pretty hot UK pron star...kind of reminds me of one of the Dr Who's girls (the one in 2005 I think).

I just googled her and oh my :alien:

just saw the movie,,, imo transformers just got worse :/ only saving grace was 3D - much better and seamless than avatar imo... as immersive as it can get...

The same thing was said about Transformers 2 and it made almost 1 billion in ticket sales. This one will do the same no matter how bad the reviews are.

Didn't comment on ticket sales, commented on the quality of the movie. Sales != great movie!

oh... jezzz is not Megan Fox on this movie, I wont see it

Being faithful to that bitch is just wrong. She is a piece of **** in real life.

About the movie?, well, just stupid like was 2 and 1. No storyline, only a retard with thie Michael Bay IQ might like it. Deal with that.

The movie is about large menacing robots that don't exist. If you ever watched the 80's transformers you would know that there is 0 story line outside of the beginning of the series and there is 0 character development. Bay has done more for the chars then the original series did. I loved the original series which was geared to children under 10. These movies are geared towards 9 to early teens.

To really get into char development the first movie would have been extended or we would have several parts. I honestly don't know of a good action flick that has a good story line. Turn off your brain and enjoy the eye candy, if you can't do that you shouldn't watch anything that centers around fiction, explosions, or action.

I actually stand corrected, one good flick is princess bride. But there were no explosions and there was decent char development. They weren't spending screen time blowing things up or transforming or flying, the majority of it was dialog even during the sword play. Perhaps if action movies did away with the rushing sound effects and motion and more on dialog it would be better suited for you. But in general you can't have sound effects while people are talking, try having a witty battle with someone standing 10 feet away while a jet is thrusting for take off...if you can hear yourself talk that will be the last thing you hear.

Saw if few days ago in 3D and it was spectacular. thinking about going and seeing it again tonight. This time in 2D. Feels good to be overwhelmed by action and all for a change. But yeah, Sams new girlfriend looks just brain damaged.

Well I went last night to go see it and I loved the movie, we saw it in 2D and it was great except for the fact that the movie was completely out of focus and they would not fix it then the projector lamp goes out...... Still finished the movie and we got tickets to see it in 3D for free! Just got back from the 3D version and it was amazing, by far the best of the series IMO. I can't wait for the Blu-Ray release so I can *iss off my neighbors :D Sam's new girl is growing on me  Megan Fox might have been a tad hotter on the hotness scale but this girl is more real to me  Still want to see it in IMAX but our IMAX is sorry as hell and are only showing Cars 2 and Harry Potter

Saw it in 3D today, went to a matinee.

I was entertained, definitely.

Effects were pretty astounding to be honest, I would say easily the best effects of this type. Meaning just the hyper realistic really technical effects. Just the whole part of if that takes place in Chicago, pretty amazing visually.

As far as acting, just incredibly cheesy, nothing really good about it at all. I actually felt slightly embarrassed for John Malkovich and Frances Mcdormand the acting is pretty much that bad. And stupid LaBoof really just annoys me.

Story was also pretty much forgettable.

Then again, I did not go to see this movie for the acting or the story, I went for the effects and nothing else, and from that standpoint, I am absolutely satisfied.

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
