Best two player games

Been having a blast playing mario kart and party on the wii with my girlfriend just wanted to hear you guys opinions on what some other good two player games are. Don't like sports games but apart from that anything goes.

Edit: on a side note, while my girlfriends been playing single player Mario Kart on the TV i've been playing Mario Galaxy on the computer through and emulator. It looks so lovely at 1440x900 with AA and AF. Is this legal (I legally own the games and console)

Although I own the console I find getting games to emulate correctly on modern hardware and playing with different controllers etc. quite fun and interesting. Mario Galaxy plays better with wasd and the mouse then it does with the wiimote and nunchuck lol

Sorry if this is an illegal post mods, just edit the bottom half out if it's not ok. :)

Nintendo uses lots of fancy "legal-sounding" language to dissuade people from exercising their Fair Use rights to backups. Those warnings in game manuals about how "Backups are not authorized" sound awfully official, doesn't it? What they don't tell you is that they mean "not authorized by Nintendo," which amounts to f*ck-all when they are authorized by the law, as the law trumps the wishes of Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.

As for games, have you tried De Blob? Decent multiplayer, pretty laid-back, simple to learn.
