Lechio
Yesterday was the release of Ubuntu 9.10. All the major technology blogs have covered this news and published it on their main page, with some making extensive coverage and well written articles full of content about the release of the new OS by Canonical. Yet in Neowin we have this: A small entry in the "Gamers & Software news". This seems to happen when the news aren't related to Microsoft (or even Apple for that matter) and feature a competing product to Microsoft's products, like Ubuntu. Why is this happening? Don't these news have place in Neowin too? They have in other technology blogs, why not in Neowin?
That Guy Veteran Posted October 31, 2009 Veteran Share Posted October 31, 2009 The articles we cover will depend on who's available to write what at the time. Unfortunately, this time, Ubuntu 9.10 wasn't mentioned. EDIT: I forgot to mention, if you see some news or think something should be covered that isn't currently being written up, stick a headline/link/tip in a PM to one of us, or use the Submit to Newsdesk link, and one of us should have a go at it. Also note, if you do use the Submit to Newsdesk link, perhaps mention that it's a Tip/suggestion by mentioning it in the title. Often, companies will submit info about software they've made, which tends to get put aside as you can imagine.
