[Official] Assassin's Creed 2

Woah hold the phone here. I literally just put this in for the first time 10 minutes ago, rented it through Gamefly, and is it really the same voice actor as Drake? Nolan North I think his name is? That is pretty poor, and now I need to know who chose him first. I mean okay it is not like a voice actor should and cannot do more than one game, but having the same guy do the lead for two larger releases is just, I don't know, not very cool IMO.

And he is 110% lifeless in this role. Was 1000 times better as Drake. Really weird indeed.

no?

Nolan North: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0636046/

Assassins creed 2: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1201133/

And what's with the "Lawrence", lol.

That's my real name, and Yes, it is him. I checked IMDB as well, and it is just wrong. But wikipedia says he is in it, and I can tell the same voice when I hear it...

Your right, I was looking for the main characters name Ezio.

And I should have known since I was looking up Nolan North a few weeks ago and noted that he played desmond, lol.

And I always assumed your name was Larry, rofl.

yes, he does the voice for Desmond. he also did the voice for alpha protocol's main character and the last Prince Of Persia, I think he's a great voice actor, but indeed maybe a bit overused lately.

Yeah that is all I am thinking, I did not know he did those other games even, just seems like as good as he is, and I do believe he is damn good, there are so many other good voice actors out there. Hell, at my job we use Voice Over people some time for learning modules we create, and they are good. That is all I was thinking, just seems like an odd choice to use the same guy for so many high profile games. It just did not seem right to me hearing Drake in another game. :|

Well my name is Larry, short for Lawrence.

I changed it on XBox Live to DirtyLawrence, so figured why not do it here, for at least awhile.

Yay, look what arrived a day early

Quickest delivery I've had from The Hut, 2 days. It's usually 3.

These cleaner PS3 boxes are much nicer, but WTF @ the size of that BBFC rating. I thought we were changing to the new PEGI ratings...

Pretty underwhelming start to the game.

The character also controls like a tank, I guess it's a bit janky after inFAMOUS although the climbing is a little more in depth. It might also rival the Elder Scrolls series on some of the ugliest in-game face models as well :p

    • I’m still using an Xbox One S, so time for an upgrade to play this but as much as I hate Sony, I think I’ll get the ps5 pro
    • I bought this game. Played it for an hour, and then got a refund from Steam. Not a fun game at all.
