sammy2
I don't see anything suspicious in the HJT log. Can you download ShellExView and post the log from it? You make one by going to View>Select All then File>Save Selected ItemsShell extensions are like browser plugins for Explorer. If they're improperly written they can crash their host. It's not a host fault. :) Can we change the shell extensions ? and if so do you have any links ?

cropcircles
Been having crashes off and on the last few days. Today no problems. Running very smooth. I've been looking at services and software. Yesterday I updated Java and also I re-checked Indexing Service. Wouldn't think any of these would have anything to do with these freeze ups. cropcircles
I installed the latest Nvidia nForce driver http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and no more hanging or freeze ups. It was happening all the time on 7 (64) with various browsers and software so I knew it was a driver or hardware issue. https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=835130
MagicAndre1981
how do I get the DMP file ? Download this file to your desktop: http://cid-128fc518635be2dc.skydrive.live....R^_Explorer.reg Make a double click on it. When Explorer crashes again, you'll find a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please uplod this file to RS.com ad post the link here.
