Don't forget - when she bought her laptop she wanted to "triple the RAM" like it was a big deal!

Thesedays we do 4-6x the ram and don't even blink!

ph yeah and the worm was a vibrant display from something off of a bad acid trip...

BWAHAHAHA:

Hank you guys ever tried to run a traceroute to an IP address in DOS, man you guys are so old skool!

LMAO I knew that's how the tv / movie industry thought, but now they're even TELLING US that they need to make a GUI in order to get anything done? LMAO

You forgot that hackers know everything about every system they ever hack into even if they weren't planning on it. Need to stop the terrorist from blowing up the power plant? No problem! Call in the white hat hacker who knows how to stop a physically damaged power plant from exploding!

haha, some of these are funny

But yes you can find out someones name buy knowing their IP address depending on what service they are using to connect to get online, although that is not always the case at least I can track down where your location is.

It use to be easier back in the days, when modems were used, and everyone connected to the net had an actual physical location and they had to register their name to the IP they acquired from the ISP, which is not the case any more.

By knowing I.P. address, you know the name of person using the computer.

Yeah this is from the last Die Hard movie, but the point here was that they rigged their PCs with explosive, adn they had a script which would trigger the explosive by pressing the DEL key. It wasnt really the virus that made the PC explode :) lol Well at least thats what I think..... or I assumed.....

You create a virus which, on pressing Del, explodes the computer.

Good way to accidentally kill yourself as the bomb maker. "Okay, now just let me clean up some files... Oh Shi*BOOM*"

Well they activated the script remotely once they got the code they needed

Did you see the movie? It's actually quite entertaining. I like Bruce Willis

Robocop runs on DOS. :p
