Well the NA people didn't get their keys until 3 days before the game is to be released so it stands to reason that the EU people will get their keys 3 days before their game unlocks. If you don't have your key before Thursday then maybe you should start complaining, imo.

I'm not overly concerned about getting it on time. My complaint is that D2D don't provide any information on it at all. They give you a button which says click here to retrieve your key but it does nothing and doesn't tell you why.

it unlocks at 12 EST? i was just gonna ask about this. i figured if anything the earliest would be 12 PST...

edit: nvm... approximately 2 hours according to the steam store page... sweet get to play this tonight :)

Indeed ... hopefully it unlocks on time!

haven't played it yet, but those reviews seem to be focused on the xbox360 single player mode, whereas all i care about is the PC MP. Imagine if all you judged of bad company 2 was the god awful SP? it would get the same reactions...

god i hope i didn't waste my money...

I think you have to remember that Splash Damage are kings of overpromising and underdelivering. They have wonderful concepts but poor execution.

Also, I think both reviews more than adequately addressed the multiplayer.

Not really. Playing it on console with P2P matchmaking and prior to release would be bloody awful! The game follows in the footsteps of Enemy Territory and Quake Wars, and the way the MP was described sounds very familiar to those.

In the end, the team which has the most teamwork will succeed (which is why those two were, and still are, extremely popular tournament titles) unlike MW2 and BLOPS which is just retarded rambo-style. Most of the other outstanding issues will be addressed in patches post-launch I assume (just remember how poor BC2 was when it released, yeah...).

No one expected to console versions to be good. It's mostly about multiplayer on the PC.

If you actually read the reviews, they almost exclusively cover the multiplayer aspect...
