It's not. Kat still has two arms. It's not Reach either apparently. The one that throws the bomb is probably Noble 6 who you replace in Reach. Just something for eagle eyed fans and the others ohh and ahh.

I noticed that arm but may be she loses that mid-way through the game? I mean wasn't Reach the first planet to go down? The scale of war seems to be a big world under attack?

It wasn't first contact if that's what you mean, meaning other planets had to have fallen already. Reach was the most significant because of its militarily and social importance; second to earth iirc.

oh ok, somehow I thought Reach was the first planet that got attacked. I do recall that it wasn't the "first contact". Aah - might be a good idea to go through the books again, it's been a long time. :p

Its just 18 more days before the game comes out, not that much longer guys. Waited all this long, just a few more days. 2 weeks and 4 days to be exact.

I mean hell IM GETTING THE SYSTEM AND LEGENDARY EDITION and im patient, and im NEVER patient lol. I sold my system and everything to "upgrade". So its ok guys, we will live till 14.

Hell I even "got' the game and played it on a system I have, i couldnt make it past the menu, something in my brain was telling me to just wait it out instead of ruining it, sad part of all this, i NEVER play single player of ANYWAY game... lol. So it didnt matter to me anyway, but point being not that long left.
