rayjin
Just recently got this lens from Dell.com and looking through the lens itself there appears to be a chip or crack in the middle somewhere.. it doesn't seem to affect the image taken on the cropped sensor (Xsi), may will appear in a FF sensor... but I wonder if this is a norm for this lens. Should I send it back to Dell or have Canon service it? Any comment on what to do? Thanks. Edited January 2, 2010 by rayjin

Redestium
I just ordered that same lens, I would recommend B&H to buy from in the future they have everything.
