Youtube embedded posts don't have a maximise button

I'm pretty sure embedded videos don't usually have the FS button. If you want to watch it in FS, click the video to go to Youtube and maximise it there.

i think its the resolution of the video that neowin uses to embed at that determines if there is a maximise button. For example when using wordpress it will have a maximise button when you embed in blog posts but if you change the resolution to embed at it disables it.

I don't know if that's really an issue. Here's what you can do, though: Right-click anywhere on the video and select "Watch on YouTube". From there, maximize the video for your viewing pleasure. :)

yeah the main news must use different tagging, hope admins can figure out how to add videos in a way that enables the maximise button.

This one has the FS button. Maybe the main news uses the embed, while the forums use the youtube tags.

It depends on the video , the bbcode tags are just hiding the html embed code so both vids are the same

however that said the {youtube} code made the square videos and the {wyoutube} made the wide ones, lets try both on the same video

As you can see the wide one has the fullscreen button, I tried embedding this using the method Neowin does and they left out allowfullscreen="true"

This one is the {media} tag

This one is {youtube}

This one is {wyoutube}
