I wasn't heartbroken, but then again I'm an American. :) Hannah Kearney's run was awesome. But I knew when Heil did her run that she was knocking the other American, Shannon Bahrke, out of first. Heil did a good job.

I'm anxiously waiting for the men's game next Sunday versus the US. Everyone I know will be glued to a TV, haha.

that i agree with, i was wondering the same thing when they were announcing stuff. maybe harper is trying to get some votes in quebec in our annual elections?

With the Olympics, everything is always announced in french first, then english, then the official language of the host nation. It's been like that in Beijing, Torino, Athens, Salt Lake.... etc.

The US Coverage of these games is absolutely horrible already. The games started last night and with competition starting today. NBC only has coverage starting at 2:30pm. I just wish there was a dedicated channel where you could watch every event.... live.

It is pretty good here in India though some runs are cut of by ads.

Has anyone found some cool free Olympic related things to do? I went downtown on Opening day and I went to Richmond today. I was going to go into the Heineken house - but there was a good 2 - 3 hour wait. I'm probably going to go to the Grandville Island stuff this week (Atlantic house and such). Other suggestions?
