and im going for the fins, but i feel bad because the slovaks have played so well and they deserve a medal... especially how they almost tied canada last night. and finland died against the states.

Finally a good game of hockey. I am glad for Finland.

Europeans play much better hockey than north Americans...less violence and more proper play. It's too bad that you cant win gold that way. This was a much better match than what can vs us will ever be.

i have no words for that statement... you can't be from canada...

hitting is a part of the game, body checks, fighting all that stuff. All a part of the beautiful beautiful game that is hockey. Hockey is a man's game for a reason. It's not figure skating with hockey sticks... I promise you the can vs us game will be better.

i'm happy koivu/selanne got some hardware :)

I am from Canada but i am not Canadian. I only watch some hockey games during olympic games.

Anywya i can't wait for tomorows game :) We shall see if it indeed will be better ;)

Sweet game, almost gave up at 1-3.. had to get more beer to pull through the final intermission, glad it paid off. Of course the most important thing (along with Koivu & Selanne getting their medals) is that we beat Sweden.. even on the womens side even if no one really cares.

What the hell happened in that game? I had to go to work 4 minutes into the third when it was still 3-1, and then I got a text message from my friend that Finland won. Daaaaaaaaamn.

Too bad it was last cool event of the games...while hockey is cool, it's nowhere close as skiing.

It should be that Canada has to beat USA twice to win the gold. Not really fair that everyone else has to be defeated twice before you're eliminated. But if you get to the gold medal match undefeated and you lose, that's it. Doesn't really make sense. Let's go team USA.
