March 2010 Desktops

Can you tell me how to change the drive letters in the implosion settings?

Go to the Implosion folder, there's a file called "UserVariables.inc"

Open that file using wordpad or notepad.

Change whatever you like including the font color, line colors, drive letters, etc. All the skins from Implosion pull the information from that file, so changing the color or font setting will change it for all the Imposion skins.

Make a backup of the settings in case you want to restore the default settings later on.

Another month and nothing has changed desktop-wise. I usually get a lot of questions via PM about this setup and I've been pretty bad about answering them. Anyway, here's the info in case you're wondering and I haven't replied:

Wallpaper: 'Still Grey' by LM, available @ http://customize.org/wallpapers/67620

Numbers in the bottom right corner: RocketDock (using easily-made custom icons by me), available @ http://rocketdock.com/download

Clock/date: 1st Clock 5.0, available @ http://www.1stclock.com/

System Info: CoolMon 1.0 Final, available @ http://majorgeeks.com/CoolMon_d212.html

Theme: Modified SlanXP 2.0 for 7 (original @ http://mini-slash.deviantart.com/art/SlanXP-2-0-For-7-134955170 ; can't release my version since I did not get permission from original author)

Taskbar (semi)transparency: TransBar 1.4.2, available @ http://go.to/aksoftware

Application Launcher(alternative to start menu, not pictured): Launchy for 64bit Windows, available @ http://cid-cca7540c117d6afe.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/Launchy%202.1.2%20x64%20Build.zip with Ashen Blue theme by pepei, available @ http://pepei.deviantart.com/art/LAshen2-73342246

Hope that helps

I've just reset all my customisations with sfc /scannow, so the only thing of note here are my fences!

I've tried many themes on windows 7, but they always have practicality issues. Default Aero ftw. :p
