PS3 controller is titled Move, says source

Actually, Eyetoy gets barely ANY support. It's been horrible since they introduced it on the PS2 actually.

We shall agree to disagree.

Personally I don't see the need for any motion controllers on the PS3/360 and probably won't be investing in either.

I don't see any need in it either. If I do get one, it will be the NATAL "if" we get the minority report/voice recognition features for the NXE dashboard, movies, etc. I won't use it for games, just hands free control of my 360.

It is the same method they are using for PlayStation Move. Just showing that Sony did motion controls first.

You keep telling yourself that. In the meantime, everyone else can see that the video shows a camera tracking colors in the room rather than a pointer, accelerometer, etc. The video shows a poor man's Natal, not anything like a Wii remote.

Sony and MS are doing so much more with the motion. The Wii does have it's gimmicky limits.

So despite being the market leader, it's still a "gimmick"? Heh.

This, paired with the upcoming firmware upgrade for 3D TV's could be very promising.

For a streamlined version of that with good commentary (different person/demo)

The "minority report" manipulation is cool, but what I'm looking forward to most is essentially this being a keyboard/mouse for the PS3. Socom looks like it's controlled much better for an FPS.

In terms of what I'd like to see, non-crippled strategy/MMO games with toolbars. Yeah, I feel it mimics a mouse quick enough/accurately enough to finally add toolbars to console games (Y) Civ5 without retarded controls and gimped features please!

You could create a whole new virtual XMB, like a desktop with icons, but that kind of overhaul would be best kept for a console that comes with such functionality, not having it added on.
