Well there goes £230 of my wages invested in to a new case and cooling system for my PC so I can run BC2 better. :D

Shame I'll have only a few hours before the servers go down though. :(

Edit: Bos always keep down your ammo even if you're not using it, points are points. :P

As a medic I prefer the M249 my self. More details just came in about the damage increase:

- SMGs

- MGs

- AR

- Pistols

Are all getting a 25% dmg boost to each bullet fired. :D

That's definitely good news. I haven't played since they fixed the hit detection, but that was one of the gripes I had from before. There were cases where I had to unload a full clip from my assault rifle at close or mid range just to bring a guy down. Granted, it may have just been a laggy server or my crap connection.

Seems about right. The shotguns are stupidly powerful within 10 metres.

You know you are right about that. I have been running with a shotty lately on my medic and just been running into firefights in the middle of buildings and destroying people..

Good news on the damage increase, I can't tell you how many times I've tried to kill someone with my pistol at close range and hit them 5-6 times and they still manage to knife me. And then you see after that in the kill cam thing that they still have 25% health left. That's playing as a recon.

PC walkthrough video from the Battlefield Blog:

Nice. And I heard him mention that people can change the FOV to what they want, but it will have a limit.

Also Damn my brother in law who I just helped build a PC. We have literally the same exact comp except he got a 5870 I think it was? Basically the 2nd highest ATi card, thing is a beast, but it is Direct X 11 capable, and that ambient lighting they showed real quick with DX11 looked pretty good. Nothing great, but cool enough.

yeah I am looking at getting a Quadcore and new mobo myself just to play this game.

A decent quad core really seems to make a hell of a difference on this game. I've only upgraded to a Q9400 my self in January. Didn't see the point in blowing ?350+ on an i7!

That video card is great. You get HD 4870X2 performance with DX11 added on top. I'm definitely looking forward to my next build: AMD 6-core CPU, HD 5870, 8GB DDR3.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
