PC is very team oriented. It is amazing how long it can take for my squad mates to get on the same team as I though. When the game was first released it would group squads exclusively. Now it will split you. If it weren't for that, I imagine the team actions would be even higher.

This game is rocking pretty well lately. It had hiccups but turned out well. It runs better than black ops, and looks significantly better, pretty sweet. Rumor is Frostbite 2 will be amazing on the PC as well. DX11 is beautiful, and efficient.

I play BFBC2 on the PC and PS3.

I'm surprised that the resupplies count is so high on the PS3. I run out of ammo all the time and I literally have to go around looking for someone to give me ammo. Sometimes I'll find someone that's paying attention and they'll throw me some down. There are times, however, where I have to jump in front of the guy while shooting my pistol at him.

I only find the characters seem clunky when I'm lagging, if I have a good connection then it all seems fine for me.

I'm not surprised pc players are in the lead with the team actions, I have always found pc gaming to be more sociable and talkative, having a keyboard for coms probably helps.

I swear there is a hidden trend in BC2. For a few days, I'll have a great game after great game (for the record I don't mind losing to a good team, but I more than hate losing because my team sucks) , and then all of a sudden for a couple of days my luck runs. And I end up with a team that is well crap. Highly frustrating.

In other slightly more happy news. Operation Hastings map is very close - 65,255,498 so far only 3,744,502 more team actions to go!

Yeah I love BC2 but pretty much every game has insanely imbalanced teams, what you are seeing is the luck of the draw of being on the stacked team vs the team getting owned. Even games are all to rare in this game.

It's far worse on the consoles. On the PC you can play on servers with active admins that try to balance teams. On the PS3, you're stuck. You can only leave and hit "Play Now". I've played too many games that were 8 v 4 or 10 v 5

Oh no, I get lucky, and mostly land on balanced server. Yeah sometimes you land on a server when you can run around with a pistol. Just nailing everyone as you go. But stuff like that gets boring quick, and usually ends with me quitting.

Yeah, I'm not surprised that the 360 is lacking in resupplies and spotting. I always use the ammo upgrade when I'm an engineer because in a lot of matches you rarely come across someone with an assault kit, and they usually don't get the hint when your character is yelling that they need ammo in another language, lol.

Also, if it wasn't for this thread I would have never known about spotting when I was starting out. I think I was approaching level 15 when I first found out about it.

Me and my squad had a good run of at least 20 games undefeated tonight! :D

Also aside from like 1 time where some guy got best squad medal on his own(he was insanely good) we had best squad nearly every single game. I love good teamwork!

Hell yes buddy no doubt the only obstacle might be that we have made a very unusual playing pattern and that is we are playing very late into the night to make sure we get some time with those over the pond so if you don't mind late nights we will always have a spot (Y)

I did notice that laugh.gif

On the PS3 version, if you aim at an assault class (or medic or vehicle like a tank) and press Select (the spotting button), it will tell the assault class that you need ammo (or in the case of a medic, that you need first aid or someone in a tank that you need a ride). It helps to set the voice overs to your localized language.

Same thing on PC version, doesn't mean someone will actually pay attention and give you anything tho. More times then not they won't pay attention and thus continues the long road of finding ammo.

I've never had issues with ammo on the PC version. Almost every server I go into, there's always people that throw ammo/health kits around like their life depends on it. And whenever you can't find those people, all you have to do is spam the use key near someone playing with an assault or medic class.

Yeah, I know. I do it all the time. Only works when people are paying attention.

Green Eye, I will finally be free to play next week! We need to squad up!

Yeah absolutely no doubt buddy I am back into this game with massive enthusiasm and even more so now that I have ordered my turtle beaches and i know how gorgeous the sounds are in BFBC2. Cant wait! :D

Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 changelog: Uses electron 42.4.1 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.4. • Microsoft will soon allow some users to block Copilot from analyzing their Office files by Usama Jawad Microsoft Purview is a pretty useful data governance, security, and management service that allows customers to gain enhanced visibility and control over their content. It's meant for commercial customers, such as organizations that are storing data at scale. As AI continues to expand and infiltrate every corner of a firm, many are a bit conscious about the technology gaining access to their confidential data. Microsoft is now making a configuration change that will allow such customers to rest easy. Right now, users within an organization have the option to apply Purview sensitivity labels (when available) to secure certain files and label them as such. For example, if you apply the "Confidential" label on an Excel file, the file will be encrypted, and a "confidential" watermark will be applied to it. So, if this file is shared with anyone, they are aware that its access is supposed to be restricted. Up until now, Microsoft was allowing some connected experiences, like its AI services, to analyze files, regardless of their sensitivity label. This is of major concern to most organizations, as a recent example highlighted how confidential emails with data loss prevention (DLP) policies like privacy labels were being uploaded to Copilot for analysis. As such, Microsoft is updating an existing Purview data label sensitivity setting that prevents "some connected experiences that analyze content", from being blocked completely from doing this. The label isn't changing, but the blocking is now being enforced across all connected services (including Copilot and other AI tools), and now extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files with the label applied already will get this enhancement automatically too once it becomes available. Microsoft has urged IT admins to inform their respective helpdesk and compliance teams, update internal documentation, and review sensitivity labels to ensure that they meet their respective compliance needs. This change is tagged as MC1297982 in the Message Center. General availability is scheduled to begin in a phased manner soon and will complete by the end of next month. That said, it is important to note that this only applies to commercial customers who have a license that allows them to use Purview.
