David Fincher Eyeing 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'

Well in the sleep-deprived mind of a father of a 2 year old my memory is not what it should be, for some reason I didn't think Martin Vanger was supposed to die until the third novel.

The whole Vanger thing is over (with the exception of a few little Harriet things) in the first one. The second and third ones are all about Lisbeth and Zalachenko and the Section.

Rumors were circulating that Fincher was eying the uber-blonde, pale, pottymouthed, squeaky-voiced rapper for the role of the marginalized computer hacker Lisbeth Salander. Then, Boing Boing confirmed that Yo-Landi had rejected the role.

Well I really enjoyed the film. Hope they make the next two.

That was absolutely fantastic. There were changes here and there, but overall the movie did justice to the book. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Seen it, it was pretty great. Only "flaw" I found with it is that Noomi Rapace has been engraved in my brain as Lisbeth Salander after watching the Swedish trilogy so it was really weird seeing someone else in the role. Looking forward to sequels, they can only be better than the Swedish versions.
