I'm gonna follow this guy's work. The finished product will be so LEGENDARY.

Now that's a custom build I'm looking forward to being finished. That's going to be one sick custom Gundam Unicorn :D

I'd love to start such a project myself, but time and money are a restraint.

Also, it would be nice if you could add the source links to all your posts from now on much like I'm doing. As it helps us out finding other cool things :)

^That's an awesome Gunpla build!

And why not give the source? I do this to everything I post. Besides, it's helping the person who made the original thread/website as well as it'll add views to their stuff. You'd also help us out as we'd find more good stuff to post it here.

The reason you gave is somewhat odd to me. Imagine if everyone on Neowin did that, not giving sources to articles because they don't want others to find things to post. It kinda ruins the fun for everyone. Like the source to the Gundam Unicorn, it had LOADS more images than the 1 image you posted :p

Not wanting to come off as an ass here, but you do get my point I bet.

^Yeah, thanks for that. The gallery has more cool Gundam Gunpla photos and other Gundam stuff. And not to forget about the photos taken of all the Star Wars lego, haha.

That Wing Gundam looks pretty cool. Also, that previous Gunpla you posted, I said it was a Custom Gunpla which was stupid, lol. It's the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam Assault Shroud. Man that Gundam looks awesome.

This might be a dumb question but if I wanted to do cooler custom stuff like this (I assume it's mostly the paint job), what stuff do you need? Is it normal MG models, spray painted and what not? Can you buy the paint off Amazon? How do you go about doing that while you assemble them? It'd be a really intricate process.

It's mostly the paint, with a flat coat. You can probably try to find paints at your local hobby shop? What I know is that you plan out which trees you want them coloured. Say for an example. If I wanted a Black Unicorn, I'll look at which parts on the runner. Runners are usually the same colour for Armor (i.e For the Unicorn it's White). Then spray those. If you don't get what I"m trying to say here's a site that will help you out a bit. Just scroll down to the bottom part. http://www.dannychoo...g+Tutorial.html

You also see there are metal rings on the side of the armor, I have no clue how they did that. They must've drilled a hole or something.

@Razorwing: Yeah, but I thought it was a complete non-existing Gundam that he made. That's why I called it a non-custom Gunpla :p The added details are pretty neat though. And I love the way they did the cockpits in Gundam SEED.

It don't think they drilled holes into the plastic parts. As you can see in this photo of a non-edited version, there are pre-made indents in the armor:

So I think they just glued rings into these indents.

Wouldn't it be awesome to also have a Gunpla like this?

They call it a Degirama (no idea what that means) and it's from the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam Assault Shroud. It's one of the promo images as seen in the source: MG GAT-X102 Duel Gundam ????????

I hate the fact that I always see little imperfections in panel linings, lol. That's why I probably wont ever do it on any of mine any time soon. Though when you look at them from a normal distance, you'd probably not see the imperfections.

That Unicorn Gundam looks pretty epic! Though I still think that the one with the red psycho frame looks way better :p

Yeah there are indents, however if you look closely, the metal rings are hollow :p.

The degiarama looks like a Diarama ? lol.

I'm planning to get the Unicorn in a few days. Really need a MG build. I'll probably get the Red Psychoframe one. Well I dunno. Been also wanting the Qan[T] too. So I dunno .. Suggestions?

^really custom.

Kit bash customized build with HGUC Nu Gundam, HG Exia, HG GM III, HG Freedom & HGUC Banshee*

^That's an awesome custom build! Also, the rings could still be glued in regardless of being hollow or not :p It probably is a diagram but the box said Degirama when there where proper English words used as well, so I wasn't sure.

Also, episode 26 of Gundam AGE is out :)

The QAN[T] is pretty awesome, I've got it myself. So it's hard to make that decision, haha.

And never expected what happened in the previous episode of Gundam AGE. This series really is way better than I expected it to be. Just goes to show, again, that you can't judge the book on it's cover (Y)

I dislike the designs as well though the Gundam are growing on me.

Also, that custom job on Unicorn Gundam looks really, really great. The gold and white complement each other really good. I'd love to have that version, haha. One could make it by buying Unicorn Gundam and Unicorn Gundam 02 "Banshee". When I have enough money to get 2 and I'm actually crazy enough to spend the money on 2 then I'd make that version as well, lol. The black from Unicorn Gundam 02 "Banshee" with the red from Unicorn Gundam should fit nicely with each other as well.

    • If its the devs fault you would think Unreal would help M$ take full advantage of Unreal and work with them to fix the performance issues. Otherwise they are catching unwarranted bad press.
    • Thanks for the advice guys, I'll give my current GPU a clean and then run the benchmarks to see how similar it is. Hopefully a bit of a clean-out will help it last a bit longer.
    • Pretty sure those will still be in this game. The series' well-explored psychosis themes will return as well.

    • Microsoft making much needed change to Windows 11, 10 Patch Tuesday security updates by Sayan Sen Recently, Microsoft delivered its latest Defender patches for Windows 11 ISOs. These definitions are released from time to time alongside the general security updates available during Patch Tuesday. Speaking of Defender, the company has now announced another important change that affects how security updates are delivered to enterprise devices running Windows. According to a recent announcement, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's endpoint detection and response (EDR) updates will no longer be bundled with the monthly Windows security updates or Patch Tuesdays. Instead the company is shifting delivery of these updates to Microsoft Update, bringing EDR servicing in line with several other Microsoft Defender components. If you recall, Microsoft last year moved PowerShell updates to Microsoft Update (MU) as well since it provides automatic updates for Microsoft products and services. Thus the move is intended to allow Microsoft to deliver EDR improvements and security enhancements independently of the OS's regular monthly update cycle; this should enable faster deployment of protection updates without requiring organizations to wait for the next Patch release. For those unfamiliar, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's EDR capabilities are designed to help organizations detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats across managed devices. Keeping these components updated is critical for maintaining protection against evolving attack techniques. The rollout has already began for Windows 10 devices in late May 2026 (last month) and Microsoft says it will gradually expand support to Windows 11 and the remaining supported Windows versions over the coming months. The company expects deployment across Windows 10 and Windows 11 to be completed by fall 2026 or around Q3 of this year. Once the transition is complete, EDR updates will be delivered through Microsoft Update using KB5005292, provided the required prerequisite updates have already been installed. Microsoft is also introducing a new Defender Update Service as part of the change. Following installation of the first update, devices will automatically create a new directory located at %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Defender\Defender Update. Microsoft notes that restarts may occasionally be necessary in case of "rare" failure scenarios. For most organizations, the tech giant says no action will be required as long as Microsoft Update is already permitted within their update management strategy. Admins who rely on manually deployed update packages, however, will need to adjust their processes to ensure the new Defender update package is included. Microsoft also recommends reviewing internal documentation and notifying helpdesk and security operations teams about the updated delivery mechanism to avoid confusion during the transition. As a prerequisite, the tech giant notes that systems must be running Sense version 10.8798.25857.1000 or later and have one of the following Windows updates (or later) installed: Win11 24H2 KB5062660 (2025-07 Cumulative Update Preview) Win11 23H2 KB5062663 (2025-07 Cumulative Update Preview) Win11 22H2 KB5062663 (2025-07 Cumulative Update Preview) Win10 22H2 KB5062649 (2025-07 Cumulative Update Preview) Win10 1809 KB5063877 (2025-08 Cumulative Update) Server 2019 KB5063877 (2025-08 Cumulative Update) Server 2022 KB5063880 (2025-08 Cumulative Update) Server 2025 KB5063878 (2025-08 Cumulative Update) As always, organizations should verify that their update policies align with the new servicing approach before the broader rollout reaches all supported Windows platforms later this year. In case of major problems, the EDR update can be rolled back to the inbox version stored in %ProgramFiles%\\Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) using: MpCmdRun.exe -RevertMde -Product Edr -ToVersion Inbox For those who have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center portal, you can view the message here under ID MC1381119.
