Nice work. What technologies are you using? Have you considered handwritting recognition? ? Also, how about losing the aero window border and having your own minimize, maximize and close buttons?

What do you mean by losing the window border (Do you mean like removing the titlebar like StickyNotes has?)

I'm loving the look of Notes! I'd be very interested in partaking in a beta: from what I've seen it seems to be a very complete product. I look forward to seeing more from you, and possibly getting the opportunity to play around with Notes.

Like instead of having the border and title bar provided by windows....make your own.

Oh - thanks for clearing that up.

Just to answer the borderless Notes question - it isn't going to happen and never will - I want Notes/StickyNotes to include Aero, as that is the only way to remain somewhat Native to Windows (As c'mon Notes hardly looks native with it's dark colours and textures.)

      Apple do exactly the same as what Microsoft are doing here, except they release major OS releases differently, so we as end users perceive it differently. Win11 supports most hardware configs from 2018 onwards. Those are now 8 year old devices, which arguably is better support than Apple. That means they are no longer supporting devices that are 9+ years old when Win10 ends (mainstream) support. So while those 4+ year old devices didn't get to install the major Win11 release when it first came out, they have been supported since. I think MS should do a yearly (major) release cycle like Apple and Google do, but the consequence of that is actually more e-waste than what's actually going on here. But the thing is we wouldn't complain as much. Apple drop devices almost each release of MacOS, maybe Microsoft should to. A yearly release would give them more control and be less jarring to users.
