Man that sucks, and how stupid for UKMail to loose it.

I am sure if you go to town you will get it, well the earlier the better I suppose.

Sadly my copy didn't arrive, postie has just been and he didn't have it with him :( ShopTo were only allowed to send them out yesterday due to an agreement with Rockstar apparently not to break street date :(

This always happens with me :(

But does that not mean you'll get 3 quid back, since you didn't get by release day?

Same thing happened to me

Just started playing the game, had a hell of a time getting my hands on a copy. I rented it from Gamefly, it was shipped on Monday, but somehow it is still not here (Split Second was also shipped on Monday, I had it by Wednesday), so I was going to go buy a copy from Gamespot using my remaining credit I had there plus some cash, but a friend came through and let me borrow their extra copy.

Have to say I only played maybe 2 hours, but I do think this indeed may be better than any GTA, and for the record I LOVED GTA. Visuals are outstanding, especially when considering the scale of things and I hardly see any loading times. It is just SO easy to get lost in the world with everything you can do.

I need a bit more time with it before declaring it a GTA defeater, but so far it is well on it's way.

However PS3 seems to be out of stock in most places.

Considering how people have been debating that the xbox version is better, and there is a high amount of xbox users, I would have thought the xbox version would have sold out first

I got told of by the postie for only just getting up to answer the door, he was asking if he had woke me up :pinch: It was ten o'clock in the morning though! and I had been out to town last night

Haven't seen anything about it being cheap at supermarkets. Is the Tesco Entertainment deal the cheapest?

Yeah I believe so currently

£40 less 15% making it £34 plus another 8% cashback if you use quidco too bringing it to £31.28 plus 78 CC points if you collect them which is another £3.12 when used on deals. So after all discounts it's only £28.15 :p Just depends if you can be bothered waiting for delivery.

Out of interest Larry you playing this on 360 or PS3?

Issues with MP and invisible models due to things not rendering. I had a cut scene where a hovering stick of TNT placed it's self upon a door. :p

Ahhh yes, Ive only experienced that once, the safe house in the town at the start you buy for $50, went inside one time and the bar was empty.

So far however that seems to be the only bug I have seen. It is pretty much a spotless game so far, however I'm still pretty early into it.

Id be only 1 and a bit hours into the story missions and I would already say its better.

The scope of the game is simply astonishing and the scripting seems alot more evolving. Simply, R* have done it again, and that is blown me away with another AAA title.

Last night I played for 2 hours but only played 2 missions because I was too distracted with playing Poker, slashing my fingers in 5 Finger Filet, throwing Horseshoes, starting fights in pubs, and skinning deer.

I want to hate this game. :p

where do you get the lasso?

also the horse breaking task (listed in one of the costume descriptions) i went to the ranch but couldnt find how to start it, any idea what i am missing?

360 vs ps3 debate seems a bit pointless the eventual pc release will look much better than both of them and support eyefinity like gta4 does, i only got the ps3 version because i cant be bothered waiting for it, its kinda sucky playing on a single screen now im used to 3x1 23" screens

    • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....

    • I can barely recall getting web results from a file search... I must've turned it off long ago. 26H2 is Insider's Preview build 26300.8697, which I am running, atm. It is not available for people running the standard commercial builds of Windows--only for the beta test Insider's group. But anyway, as mentioned in the thread, this feature has been around for a long time...
    • Speak for yourself. I saw it on Feedly, came here to read it, and did read it until the steps to activate. I skipped them to read the last paragraph. I knew it was probably not "the most requested feature", but knowing Neowin, I knew the article was going to talk about a feature nonetheless. I've seen Neowin in its best and worst.
