Introducing Atlas2 forums (beta)

Neowin Mobile looks too good to be updated. Maybe support for other devices?

I was suggesting maybe something like a news bar like we have on the desktop version?:)

Also could you (When on the iPhone) when on a news piece, when clicking show more comments, make the page scroll to where you left off, very annoying when then are 80+ comments.

+1

Thanks for the updated logo and homescreen icon!

I agree! I'm on my iPhone a lot and it takes forever to get back to my place in the comments.

One little problem I found. When I search for something using the search box on the top right of the main page it takes me to results for the news which it always did, then you can click on comments and it shows those results fine, but if I click on forum it doesnt do anything. I get a little 'loading' animation in the lower right corner for a second but that's it. I have to go into the forums and search from there to get a result.

Make good use of the title attribute for the article list in the drop down. Some articles titles are too long, so you trim the title so that it fits well in the drop down but maybe having the full title contained in the title attr would help users know the full title.

    • I spent a good 15 min today trying to get new Outlook to use my default browser instead of forcing links into Edge. That kinda tactic is shady and it sucks.
    • Vivaldi 8.0.4033.42 by Razvan Serea Vivaldi is a cross-platform web browser built for – and with – the web. A browser based on the Blink engine (same in Chrome and Chromium) that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. Vivaldi is produced with love by a founding team of browser pioneers, including former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who co-founded and led Opera Software. Vivaldi’s interface is very customizable. Vivaldi combines simplicity and fashion to create a basic, highly customizable interface that provides everything a internet user could need. The browser allows users to customize the appearance of UI elements such as background color, overall theme, address bar and tab positioning, and start pages. Vivaldi features the ability to "stack" and "tile" tabs, annotate web pages, add notes to bookmarks and much more. • Also try installing an alternative browser on ChromeOS. You have to enable dev mode and run it as a Linux app. Clunky.
    • sometimes in older bios' you had to set a password in order to change the csm settings
    • I've enjoyed Firefoxx64 DE for many years, and Edge doesn't tempt me, and I stopped using Chrome long ago--far too many bugs.
