It's been said numerous times by Kazunori himself in tweets, numerous interviews and on the official GT website, that there are no cockpits for standard cars what so ever.

Damn, seems your right..did a little digging myself seems I was very wrong there, it's officially confirmed no cockpits for standard cars. I must admit last time I read up about it was around E3 and around that time people were saying they would have cockpit view for standard cars, but not long after that Polyphony came out and confirmed no cockpit view.....I can understand, quite unrealistic to expect dashes on all 1,000+ cars but considering Polyphony's anal attention to detail, does feel half arsed still :/ bumper cam it is then! (well for the standard cars at least).

Cheer up, they did their best and it's not half arsed at all, it just wasn't possible in the given time frame to do 1000+ highly detailed cars inside and out. :D

That's what I figured. Going to order with Pixmania as it's ?77 on there.

Salivating at the idea of a nice wheel and the signature edition cool.gif

Wish I had the cash to have bought the G25 when play were selling it off for like ?70~80 I think it was.

Now this is cool

The rally Special Event is just one example of Polyphony's dynamic design approach to GT5. The game's weather system is also auto-generated (on endurance-based and custom tracks only) based on a trio of interacting factors: humidity, temperature and pressure. The combination of those three elements can result in fog, rain, snow or a clear day. Yamauchi said the team cannot even impose specific weather conditions on a particular race but merely suggest them by creating cloudy weather, for example. From there, the system takes over to create weather on the fly. It's an impressive feat that I'll probably love until I have to drive in the rain.

Dynamic procedural weather.

That looks amazing. I usually don't use the cockpit view in driving games (I like having the extra field of vision that the bumper camera provides), but it might be too much to pass up for GT5. The cockpit view with the Logitech wheel will be a sweet combo indeed.

Shame that the cockpit view is only in the premium cars, but I suppose it's understandable considering how much work probably goes into modelling it for a single car.

My pre-order is also paid in full and set for SAME DAY AS RELEASE delivery via Amazon. I can't wait to line this up next to my other GT games, it's been a long time coming. I am so excited about online it's crazy, but I always start out with campaign first. Not sure why.

Expect me to build up thousands and thousands of miles on the 2009 Corvette ZR1 w00t.gif

Damn it, can't wait to play this on my big screen. Looks great!

Anyone ever try the Microsoft Force Feedback Sidewinder Wheel on the ps3 to see if it works? I would love to use that instead of the ps3 wheel I have that doesn't have FFB. I don't recall ever installing drivers on my PC to get it to work, but then again, its a MS wheel and I am using WinXP, so it could have already been on there..... internet search gives mixed results.

Still looking at that Signature edition but there's so much junk too, what in-game items does the signature edition provide over the, say, LE / CE ?

The Stealth cars I believe, CE has different DLC cars.

Everything else is physical extras, Car/Book/Wallet/Keyring/USB Sick and Competition.

So all the physical discs will have exactly the same content (cart, tracks etc) and the more expensive editions will provide codes for the user to download the extra cars via PSN and not contain something extra in the blu ray itself.

Correct?

Yes I believe that is correct.

    • Alien Isolation 2 will bring a new protagonist and setting, watch the reveal trailer here by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Only a few weeks ago, Sega and Creative Assembly dropped a teaser for a new Alien Isolation. Today at Summer Game Fest, Alien: Isolation 2 was officially announced with a new trailer while also confirming a whole lot of information about the setting of this survival horror project. Check out the reveal trailer above. Leaving behind the Sevastopol space station, the sequel will take players to a remote colony world. With a Xenomorph (or more) on the loose, players will be navigating both the surface of the weather-ravaged planet as well as "the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station." Interestingly, Creative Assembly is leaving behind Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien's Ellen Ripley, as the protagonist too. While it hasn't confirmed a name yet, players will be taking the role of a new character for this new adventure. The setting is also being described as a new hunting ground for the Alien. This will have players improvising and developing new tools to aid in their survival and escape, all to avoid "cinema’s deadliest killer." "It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel," says Al Hope, Creative Director at Creative Assembly. "Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer." Promising the same deadly tension from the original from over a decade ago, Alien: Isolation 2 is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced yet.

    • Like the article stated, it's written completely from scratch, unlike the umpteen Chromium clones. It got its start as the browser built-in to the also written-from-scratch SerenityOS.
    • Hello, From looking at the screen shots in your motherboard's manual at https://endownload.colorful.cn/EnDownload/MotherBroard/2022/Intel 600/Manual/Intel 600 Series BIOS English/Intel 600 Series BIOS User Guide.pdf, you go to the ADVANCED option at the top of the BIOS (UEFI) menu, then select SECURITY in the list of options on the left.  From there  you can enable and set the Secure Boot mode.
