Damit it :pinch: I gotta stop coming into this thread :p this game is looking more and more epic! the weather looks phenomenal...I seriously cannot wait for this game! I think I should just take the rest of the year off work after it releases cause I don't think I'll be able to do anything else once my copy arrives :p :woot:

I have no idea how it's possible on a console, the end product was well worth the wait. Anyone still ****ting on PD for taking their time with this clearly isn't a fan of racing and is just looking to stir up agendas.

The amount of content and graphic fidelity is mesmerizing. Can't stop watching the trailers on the last page w00t.gif

Do want the signature edition so badly :(

Me too, but it's far too expensive. Hopefully it'll sharply drop in price like the Forza 3 Limited Edition, then I'll get it. I don't care if I miss the SLS AMG competition. :p

The pricing is terrible, but I hope the GF will bail me out, in her own words on FB

I genuinely believe that if someone offered me either an Alaskan Malamute puppy or Gran Turismo 5 signature edition, I'd pick the latter without a doubt. And I ****ing love Malamutes.

:p

The rain and snow on the windscreen looks amazing, much better than the usual rain on the camera effects we are so used to, its a pity only the premium cars will have the cockpits to view such an awesome view though.

I read that it would be dynamic, I might have missed it but I'm assuming we can set the weather for a certain race?

I believe the endurance races are dynamic and the standard races will just be set weather. Kind of makes sense considering a standard race will take what, 5-15 mins on average? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The videos *imply* (so I could be very wrong) it's dynamic weather on all tracks for all modes (ok I might be stretching it a little, but we know rally stages have dynamic time of day..). There is still debate about the lack of a cockpit in standard cars, I have heard standard cars do actually have a cockpit view it's just no where near as detailed as the premium cars, but since all the demos feature premium cars only there has been no way to confirm or deny that.

With the dynamic weather and the time of day thing, what I would love to see (and it's sorta hinted at in GT5p) is the weather and time of day of any given track is actually the weather/time of day the track is experiencing in real life at the time you choose to race on it. For example say you wanna race on Fuji and right now it's middle of the night and raining, so when select that track and race it now...it's in the middle of the night and raining....how epic would that be? :woot:

It's been said numerous times by Kazunori himself in tweets, numerous interviews and on the official GT website, that there are no cockpits for standard cars what so ever.

Has there been any indication of a new GT wheel being released with this? If not I think I might just go with the GT Force for about £80.

No, they are not releasing a new wheel as there is nothing wrong with the current GT wheel, and if they were going to make a new one they would have announced it months ago.

That's what I figured. Going to order with Pixmania as it's ?77 on there.

    • This Gigabyte AMD RX 9070 XT is very good deal despite the launch of 9070 GRE by Sayan Sen Recently we reviewed AMD's latest 1440p gaming card, the Radeon RX 9070 GRE 12GB, for $549. The card is in stock too at that price, though if you want significantly better performance and don't mind spending a bit more, the Gigabyte Gaming model of RX 9070 XT is currently on sale for just $650 (purchase link under the specs table down below). The card employs Gigabyte's WINDFORCE cooling system which combines multiple design elements such as alternate-spinning Hawk fans, a vapor chamber, and composite heat pipes to manage heat dissipation. The Server-grade Thermal conductive gel further helps in this department. The inclusion of a semi-passive cooling mode allows the fans to remain inactive under low workloads, which allows for reduced noise operation during lighter usage. There is dual BIOS switch that allows toggling between performance and silent modes. The technical specifications of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC 16G are given in the table below: Specification Value Core Clock Boost Clock: up to 3060 MHz Game Clock: up to 2520 MHz Stream Processors 4096 Memory Clock 20 Gbps Memory Size 16GB Memory Type GDDR6 Memory Bus 256-bit Card Bus Interface PCI Express 5.0 Maximum Resolution 7680 × 4320 Multi-View Support 4 displays Card Dimensions L=288 mm, W=132 mm, H=56 mm Recommended Power Supply 750W Power Connectors 3 × 8-pin Video Outputs 2 × DisplayPort 2.1a 2 × HDMI 2.1b Get it at the link below: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB Graphics Card, GV-R9070XTGAMING OC: $649.99 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) (Was: $740) This Amazon deal is US-specific and not available in other regions unless specified. • Why does this kind of tactic not surprise me?
    • They used AI based TOOLS to convert the JavaScript engine (the main rendering engine is still C++) and it was not fully automated but was human reviewed. Other subsystems will be looked into to also be converted to Rust in the future. I have no problem with any of that.
    • Why not just bring back Outlook Express at this point? It did everything I needed as a home email app.
    • No we just do it manually, our contact methods are calls, chats and e-mails. Whoever is doing the e-mail task for the day, deals with the e-mail, logs the appropriate ticket, adds the reference to the source e-mail and then files it in the appropriate folder. At least that's how it's supposed to work
