Whoa, retailers say Sony shipped 15.000 GT5s to Turkey and games have already arrived. o_0

Also they're talking about big surprises for online, I don't know what they are though! Anyway hype hype hype!

This is soo going to be an "in stores this week/tomorrow!".

trust them all you want we've see them announce how many release dates? seen proof and the whole nine yards and then like complete *******s bail on the date. until i see it in my hand gtfo sony and PD

While I can see why you doubt it, the proof that the game has now been produced and even leaked into the public must surely indicate a release date soon. You can't be thinking that Sony would hold it out now till 2011?

until i see it myself, i'm still thinking early 2011. marketing/money wise, i think releasing anything after CoD until xmas is stupid.

Nah not at all, different sales market, if it was a third party shooter I would be tempted to agree, GT5 is a hardware mover as well as a game. It will boost their console sales over the Xmas period so they will look for that as well.

If it were an FPS game, definitely. But GT5 is appealing to a completely different market of gamers, so their sales won't be badly damaged by Black Ops. As far as the fans are concerned, the sooner it's released, the happier they'll be. :)

trust me, i want it just as badly as you guys, it's the reason i bought my ps3 last year (you know, because of last years release date...)

Yamauchi has previously indicated that he would surprise everyone when it came time to release the game...and thats exactly what its shaping up to be. It's basically 98% that we will see it November 23rd to 27th. :D

Oh and supposedly GT5 is up on the torrent sites.

and that video would get annoying. And question for psp people who connect it to their ps3.

I know you can transfer you cars from gt portable to gt 5 (i have almost 100 cars already to transfer over). Do i have to be running the latest psp firmware to do it?

      Personally, I think these things are way over rated and way over priced, even at this price. I recently had Frontier Fiber installed with 2 of these devices and although they worked, I switched back to my own router and AP setup and get way better consistency on wireless speed than with Eeros. Wired speed seems to be more consistent also. Will be returning Eeros soon. I had told Frontier I didn't want them to begin with.

      Yes, exactly what I have been thinking. Don't make the context menu simpler, make it smarter to learn what I actually use. And then, give me the ability to pin settings that I rarely use but need forget where they are.

Later today, Geoff Keighley will be bringing the 2026 edition of Summer Game Fest live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the Summer Game Fest showcase livestream will be kicking off at 2 PM PT | 5 PM ET | 10 PM BST later today, June 5. The jam-packed show is slated to run for about two hours, with platforms like YouTube (4K at 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, or X being available for catching it. Like in previous years, separate streams featuring American Sign Language and Descriptive Audio are available on YouTube as well. Keighley has only dropped a few teasers about what gaming fans can expect to see at the show.
