Let me know how it works!

I have not been brave enough to set it up yet. laugh.gif

I am for all practical purposes pretty horrible at this game so far. Just going through the first set of license tests and my goal is to get silver on each one, which I have done for every event except one, and I have somehow managed to get gold on two of them, which is a small miracle within itself.

So not sure if those first set of license tests include standard cars or not, but if it does, I have not been able to tell the difference yet. Everything looks pretty damn good to me so far, and the sound is really where it is at. Very well done.

Premium. You can tell by clear windows and has cockpit view.

it let me chose, but i chose all of them obviously.

That isn't too bad then, I've got ~100 in my GTPSP garage too..so is nice I can at least decide which get in (although obviously I would of liked to have all of them :p).

Tip: Change your sound settings to small theatre!

For the record, the menu and cursor work blazing fast when you are disconnected from PSN. As soon as you connect to PSN, they start freezing up again.

For those asking me for a standard photo, this is from photomode:

High%20Speed%20Ring.jpg

the least they could do is process the textures from GT4 before they put it on the model... there are tools out there such as potrace.sourceforge.net/ which can convert a bitmap image to a vector image, and for modelling the features on cars like the seams on the doors and the window edges this should be quite easy... it wont be 100% authentic anymore since it is a synthesized image, and in fact it might be even less authentic than what it was in GT4, but at least it doesnt stand out like this

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
