Nice work ChaNinja!

One problem: My WinXP is now half Norwegian and half English :(

EDIT: Explorer.exe is not working as it should and I can't restore my old settings. I've made backups of course, but it don't seems to work. Well. Format C: for me. I should have known that it wouldn't work on a different language, but it was worth a try.

huh, cant edit previous posts.... i am also curious as to if anyone has modded their own explorer.exe and shell32 files with the chaninja ones, version .1221 for explorer and shell32 i dont know where its located :( thanks forany help!!!!!

explorer.exe and shell32.dll are both in the system32 folder of windows and the modded ones can be found in this thread.

ChaNinja, I tried to email you but something stopped me: I don't know if its something with your email or if my email server is just acting up again.

I was wondering if you minded me porting some of your msstyles to windowblinds. With windowblinds I can include the toolbaricons and the system animations. Right now for my personal use I have converted simplex to windowblinds and have all of the options working with it: toolbar icons, animations, shutdown and logoff dialogues, etc.

here's my email: mailto:[email protected]

Fantastic work Chaninja!

I've been using your subzero visual style and icons for quite a moment now, and yesterday i found out here that there are more ressources to mod the dlls! Great!

But if i could get my hand on the latest dll sample files (links are broken in this topic) i could export them more easily to my system files (french windows)..

Could anyone post the dll modified files again please?

I had thought that these got deleted when I reformated, but I found them on a backup cd I made. I've uploaded them to a server I have for my sigs and avatars. Here you go, enjoy. :D

Dll Mods

note: the server will be slow at times, but you will get the file. Sometimes it's slow during peak hours.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
